If you were a fan of the NYX Swear By It or Modern Dreamer mega palettes, they’ve just launched a new one – the NYX Escape Artist Shadow Palette. The NYX Escape Artist Shadow Palette has launched as part of the NYX spring/summer collection, alongside products like the NYX California Beamin’ Glow Booster. The palettes are pretty massive compared to the average drugstore palette, and they carry quite a high price point because of this.
NYX Escape Artist Shadow Palette
The NYX Escape Artist Shadow Palette is inspired by all things ‘beachy’ from the sand along the coast to epic sunsets. Featuring a totally incredible selection of 40 radiant eyeshadows that will put you in a Golden State of mind. With a super buttery-matte, creamy-shimmer, and intense metallic finishes, these trending, richly-pigmented, bronzy eyeshadow shades of pink, orange, and blue, this palette will take your eyes to the beach and beyond!
SYNTHETIC FLUORPHLOGOPITE, TALC, CALCIUM ALUMINUM BOROSILICATE, ISOPROPYL ISOSTEARATE, ETHYLHEXYL STEARATE, DIMETHICONE, SYNTHETIC WAX, CALCIUM SODIUM BOROSILICATE, PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRAISOSTEARATE, MAGNESIUM STEARATE, DIISOSTEARYL MALATE, PARAFFINUM LIQUIDUM / MINERAL OIL / HUILE MINERALE, TIN OXIDE, METHICONE, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, ETHYLHEXYL METHOXYCINNAMATE, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, BUTYL METHOXYDIBENZOYLMETHANE, BHT, DIETHYLHEXYL SYRINGYLIDENEMALONATE, SORBIC ACID, PHENOXYETHANOL.
The NYX Escape Artist Shadow Palette is $35 and is currently a US exclusive. The 40 pan NYX palettes are usually £35, so I imagine this palette will be £35 too once it finally launches. This looks like such an amazing palette, with every colour you could possibly want. There’s nude, pinks, mauves, greens, blues, browns, golds, a coral, a yellow and much, much more all in a mixture of finishes. The swatches look really lovely too, and they don’t look like they’ve been filtered either.
The palette contains 40 grams of product, working out at 1g per shade so you’re getting a decent amount of product for your money. I still think £35 is too expensive for any drugstore brand, but it’s still a pretty palette regardless, and it’s limited edition too, so if you do like it, make sure you snap it up soon to avoid any potential disappointment.
