The NYX California Beamin Face and Body Liquid Highlighter launched this week, alongside the Califronia Beamin Glow Booster.
The Glow Booster is essentially a metallic silver powder which was designed to be used as a topper for blushes and highlighters to boost their glow, but the NYX California Beamin Face and Body Liquid Highlighter is like the name suggests, a liquid formula.

The NYX California Beamin Face and Body Liquid Highlighter is a liquid highlighter with reflective pearls to give a beautifully radiant glow.
It's infused with avocado, rosehip, grapeseed, and jojoba oil, our California Beamin Face & Body Liquid Highlighter is never sticky, always smooth.

I feel the same way about the NYX California Beamin Face and Body Liquid Highlighter that I did about the Glow Booster. They just feel a little dated and metallic. Most people want a gorgeous golden glow, rather than a straight up silver highlighter.
It's like the new Urban Decay Moondust Illuminators, they're silver, gold and duochrome which might be a trend which none of us know about, but the whole retro metallic vibe just isn't a thing and I half expect these to rock up in TK Maxx in a couple of months time.
