It’s hard to keep up with all the new foundations launching right, but it’s very evident that there’s a common theme across them and that’s glow. Many of the new foundation launches are luminous and radiant which is music to our ears.
I am so over the unflattering matte finishes, and hope this is a sign of more glowing launches to come. One launch I am really excited to try, is the new NYX Born to Glow Foundation.

The NYX Born to Glow Foundation is available in 45 flattering shades, with a ‘covetable’ formula that offers medium yet buildable coverage, and a naturally radiant finish that lasts on the skin. It has a liquid foundation formula that blends like a dream, and works with your skin to help create a smooth and even toned look.

The 45 shades on offer are; Pale, Light Porcelain, Fair, Alabaster, Porcelain, Light Ivory, Light, Vanilla, Warm Vanilla, Nude, Natural, Soft Beige, True Beige, Medium Beige, Buff, Neutral Buff, Medium Buff, Beige, Classic Tan, Camel, Neutral Tan, Golden, Golden Honey, Caramel, Almond, Cinnamon, Warm Caramel, Honey, Warm Honey, Mahogany, Nutmeg, Warm Mahogany, Cappuccino, Sienna, Deep Sable, Mocha, Deep Rich, Cocoa, Deep, Walnut, Warm Walnut, Deep Walnut, Chestnut, Deep Espresso and Deep Ebony.
At £10 it’s average for a drugstore brand, in that it’s cheaper than Revlon, but pricier than Revolution and Rimmel. The packaging is basic, though, with a squeezy black plastic tube.
Most drugstore foundations come on glass bottles which I guess do look better, but they’re not necessarily travel friendly, so this might be better for a makeup bag on the go. The formula sounds lovely, and it’s great that it offers buildable coverage that lasts all day.
