Nip and Fab launched a new tanning range, and the Nip and Fab Tan Glycolic Polish Pads is just one of the products within the range.
There’s a few tanning mousses, oils, mists and serums which are all quite typical, but the Nip and Fab Tan Glycolic Polish Pads look quite unique and interesting.
Nip and Fab Tan Glycolic Polish Pads
Nip and Fab are known for their Glycolic Fix Exfoliating Pads, which are a tub of exfoliative acid soaked pads that help to resurface the skin.
The Nip and Fab Tan Glycolic Polish Pads are part of their tanning range, but it’s more of a prep product to get your skin ready before applying your self tan of choice.
Each of the Nip and Fab Tan Glycolic Polish Pads is infused with 3% exfoliating glycolic acid, hydrating hyaluronic acid and lactic acid to gently remove dead skin cells. Leaving you with the perfect base to apply your tan.
Priced at £7.95, you get four pads in the sachet packet, and Nip and Fab recommend using one pad on one limb, so this pack is designed to exfoliate both arms and both legs. The pads are 90mm in size, which is almost double the size of their face pads.
I am surprised by how pricey these Nip and Fab Tan Glycolic Polish Pads are, as the packet features four pads which would only prep your skin for one tan application.
It would be a lot more cost effective to use an acid baser on cotton pads, and use it all over the body. I personally really like using the Pixi Glow Tonic for body exfoliation, which works really well on any uneven texture, or keratosis pilaris.
I think these really aren’t cost effective, and you can’t open the sachet and use one or two as the others in the pack would then dry out. In theory, it’s a nice idea, but buying a glycolic toner and using it on cotton pads would have the same effect.
