I have seen some really disappointing calendars this year, such as the Real Techniques advent calendar (see the unboxing here), and considering that was £80, I think the Next Beauty Hers Advent Calendar 2021 is amazing, and keep on reading to find out why…
“The festive season (dare we say it!) is just around the corner and how better to celebrate the countdown to Christmas than with our premium Beauty Advent Calendar. From dazzling, party- ready picks to luxurious, winter glow-givers; you’ll find wish-list worthy beauty treats behind every door! With an amazing worth value of £240, & a huge 70% saving….. what are you waiting for?“
The Next Beauty Hers Advent Calendar 2021 is £69, yet the contents inside the calendar are worth over £240, which is just fantastic. Next Beauty has such an amazing range of brands, and this calendar really does showcase the best of what they have to offer, with no disappointing fillers whatsoever.
The Next Beauty Hers Advent Calendar 2021 has a chest format, with such a beautiful design. It’s covered in silver glittery paper, with silver foil accents, and there’s twenty-four drawers, all finished differently. You can really see the attention to detail, and it’s the best quality chest I’ve unboxed this year so far. I can’t believe it’s only £69!
Each of the drawers within the Next Beauty Hers Advent Calendar 2021 contain pearlised baby pink shredded paper, and there’s even some doors where you get two products, which is even more exciting. Let’s get onto the unboxing…
Kicking off the Next Beauty Hers Advent Calendar 2021 with an amazing start, and it’s the MAC Retro Matte Lipstick in the shade Ruby Woo, and it’s full size. I love it when advent calendars start with a great product, and this is such a great start to the calendar.
Next up is the Moroccanoil Treatment 25ml, which is one of my holy grail haircare products. It’s the best hair oil and smells incredible too, so I’m always happy to see it in a beauty box or calendar.
We have a makeup product next, and it’s the Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara 3ml, in a deluxe sample size. We’ve seen this product feature in quite a few Next beauty boxes this year, so it’s good to see it in the calendar.
The next product in the Next Beauty Hers Advent Calendar 2021 is the Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau de Toilette in a 4ml size. Both the ‘His’ and ‘Hers’ calendars feature decent fragrance samples, instead of a 1ml vial, and Daisy is one of my favourite fragrances.
We have a product from Urban Decay next, and it’s the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray 15ml. This is such a popular setting spray, helping you to lock your makeup in place for up to 16 hours, with ‘temperature control’ technology.
We then have a two-product door for day number six. We have the Delilah Precision Eyeshadow Brush, which is full size and is worth £20. This brush also features in the Feel unique advent calendar, and comes with a velvet protective sleeve.
The second product for day six is the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Deep Conditioning Treatment 75ml, which is a cult-favourite haircare product, and a good inclusion in the calendar.
Next up are the Elizabeth Arden Retinol Ceramide Capsules, with seven capsules to give us a seven-day sample. They’re designed to be used at night, with the perfect amount of product for one application.
I’m always excited to see By Terry in a beauty box or advent calendar, and the Next Beauty Hers Advent Calendar 2021 c0ntains the By Terry Baume De Rose Flaconnette in a 2.3g deluxe miniature size. It’s a luxurious, liquid lip balm with a strong rose scent, and softens and nourishes the lips.
The second two-product day in the Next Beauty Hers Advent Calendar 2021 features the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm 15ml, and the Aurelia Brightening Anti-Pollution Mask 20ml. I love that Next have given us a cleansing balm and a face mask for a skincare pamper session all-in-one.
Next is a skincare treat from Origins, and it’s the Origins GinZing Oil-Free Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturizer 15ml. It’s an oil-free, energy-boosting gel moisturizer formulated to help wake up dull, tired & lackluster skin with 72-hour hydration.
We have a similar vitamin-C product two days in a row, which is a little disappointing, but it’s the REN Radiance Glow Daily Vitamin C Gel Cream 15ml. I think it would’ve been better to spread them out, as they’re almost the same product, except from different brands.
Next is a product from Elemis, and it’s the Elemis Superfood Glow Priming Moisturiser 20ml. Elemis is always amazing in any advent calendar, and this moisturiser is formulated with an energising blend of Kombucha and Fermented Ginger to help brighten and illuminating micro-minerals to impart a subtle radiance.
I love the This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray, so I’m very happy it’s inside the Next Beauty Hers Advent Calendar 2021. It’s a 35ml size which might look tiny, but you only need one spray of this mist as it has a generous mister, so this size will genuinely last you six months with daily use.
Then we have the L’Occitane Verveine Shower Gel 70ml, which is a super fresh and citrus shower gel, and the 70ml size is quite generous for a travel size, with a flip-top cap for easy use in the shower.
Then we have the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex Serum 7ml, which will always be a favourite in any advent calendar. It’s an award-winning cult favourite, and is officially the number-one bestselling serum in the whole of the UK.
The next product in the Next Beauty Hers Advent Calendar 2021 is full size, and it’s the Iconic London Lip Plumping Lip Gloss in the shade Nearly Nude, worth £19. It’s a super pretty light brown-toned nude, with a nourishing non-sticky formula and a cool minty tingle.
We have skincare next, and it’s the bareMinerals SkinLongevity Long Life Herb Serum in a 8ml sample size. It’s a plant-powered anti-ageing serum, which claims to dramatically improve key visible signs of ageing, reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles while improving texture, tone and radiance.
There’s two serums in a row, and it’s the Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate in a 7ml size. This is another bestselling serum, and has very similar benefits to the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Reapir Serum.
The next product in the Next Beauty Hers Advent Calendar 2021 is one for the body, and it’s the Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Nourishing Dry Body Oil 40ml. It’s such an amazing oil, especially for the legs after shaving, and you can even add it to your moisturiser.
We then have the Nails Inc Gel Effect Nail Polish in shade Colville Mews, in a 10ml deluxe size, and is described as being a delicate nude shade. I love Nails Inc nail polishes, and this is the prettiest muted nude beige.
Next up is the BeautyPro Hyaluronic Acid Gold Foil Mask worth £5.95. It’s an anti-ageing sheet mask made from gold foil, offering intense hydration for fatigued skin.
Another cult favourite next, and it’s the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser 30ml, which even comes with a Liz Earle branded muslin cloth. This cleanser has won a staggering 135 awards, and for good reason too.
Day 23 of the Next Beauty Hers Advent Calendar 2021 features the Benefit 24Hr Brow Setter in a 2ml sample size. It’s a clear brow gel designed to keep your brows in place for up to twenty hours.
It’s Christmas Eve, and we have the Clarins Moisture Rich Body Lotion in 100ml size. It’s enriched with a higher concentration of Shea Butter and a blend of organic plant extracts, this rich, silky smooth lotion provides the skin with ultimate comfort and boosts hydration of even the driest skin.
I can’t get over how good the Next Beauty Hers Advent Calendar 2021 is. It’s £69 and features such an amazing line-up, with skincare, makeup, haircare, fragrance and body care too. I cannot recommend this calendar enough, it’s so impressive and is available right now.
