If you’re a fan of the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, there’s some very exciting news. Collection have totally revamped and relaunched the product, with brand new packaging, brand new shades and also a brand new formula.
I am a big fan of the original Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, and I’ve used it solidly ever since I discovered it when I was 15. It’s such a cult classic, and the packaging has been the same all these years, so it’s a very much overdue upgrade.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
The Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer is now available in new skin matching shades, with a vegan formula that’s buildable, blendable and effortlessly covers and conceals blemishes and dark circles for a flawlessly smooth base.
The lightweight liquid concealer glides onto the skin easily with a doe foot applicator.

Something that is interesting about this whole new revamp, and new shades is that they’ve posted this notice:
“As we add more shades to our Lasting Perfection range, a few shade codes/names will change.
During these changes, no change was made to the shade colouring of our original shades, the only change is the shade name/code and introduction of new shades. To find your perfect match, please refer to the images and list of shade.“
There are now ten shades within the range, but this message suggests there are more shades on the way, so the names and numbers are subject to change.
It’s strange to me that they didn’t just wait until the shades were all ready, so they wouldn’t have to make further changes but alas this is how they’ve decided to go ahead.
They’ve included a handy chart showing the shades before, and now to help you work out which new shade you’d need but it won’t let me save it to show you here so head on over to Boots if you’d like to see that, before making a purchase.
The shades in the new range right now (which will change):
Shade 2 Porcelain – For very fair skin tones with a slight yellow undertone
Shade 3 Ivory – For very fair skin tones with a neutral to golden undertone
Shade 4 Extra Fair – For fair skin tones with a warm neutral undertone. Previously named, 0, Extra Fair
Shade 5 Fair – For fair to light skin tones with a pink undertone. Previously named, 1 Fair
Shade 6 Cashew – For light skin tones with a golden neutral undertone. Previously named 1A Cool Fair
Shade 7 Biscuit – For light to medium skin tones with an olive undertone
Shade 8 Beige – For light to medium skin tones with a yellow undertone. Previously named 1B, Warm Fair
Shade 9 Light Vanilla – For medium skin tones with a pink undertone. Previously named 2, Cool Medium
Shade 10 Buttermilk – For medium skin tones with a yellow undertone. Previously named 3, Warm Medium
Shade 12 Toffee – For medium to dark skin tones with pink undertone
The new Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer packaging looks so much more luxe than it used to. If you’ve ever used the original, you’ll know how annoying the packaging was because the black print on the tube always came off onto your hands, and there was nothing you could do about it.
It’s taken the brand a very long time to tackle this issue, but I do love the new sleeker packaging.
The concealer is £4.19 which is what the normal price is, so it’s great that they haven’t upped the price with the sleeker packaging, and new formula.
At the minute, the new Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer is only available at selected retailers which right now I believe is just Boots.
Hopefully the new formula will be available at all retailers very soon, but right now you might have to order via Boots or see if it’s available in store.
The first image in this post shows there’re 20 shades, but there are only 10 shades available at Boots right now, so I hope it won’t be too long before the remaining Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer shades arrive.
I am really looking forward to giving the formula a try as I am such a fan of the original, but the shades weren’t fair enough so the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Porcelain sounds so much better and it’s great they’ve introduced so many more shades.
