Masking is such a popular trend within the beauty community, and the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Cica Repair Hand Mask is designed for use on the hands.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve never used a hand mask before, so this new launch really appealed to me.
Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Cica Repair Hand Mask
I’ve done the whole applying a rich hand cream before bed, and wearing cotton gloves overnight to allow the cream to fully penetrate the skin and it works really well.
Foot masks are really popular too, so the prospect of something for the hands is quite innovative.
The Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Cica Repair Hand Mask is designed to moisturise and restore dry skin from external aggressors.
It’s been clinically proven to help nourish and repair skin from first use, the mask acts as a comforting moisture “bandage” to intensely soothe and moisturise your skin for up to 48 hours.
It’s a pretty bold claim, but Neutrogena claim that 1 moisturising mask = 1 weeks usage of hand cream (based on average quantity of Neutrogena® Norwegian Formula Fast Absorbing Hand Cream daily application).
Aqua, Glycerin, Distearyldimonium Chloride, Pertrolatum, Isopropyl Palmitate, Cetyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Avena Sativa Kernel Flour, Avena Sativa Kernel Oil, Avena Sativa Kernel Extract, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Stereth-20, Myristyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Sodium Chloride, BHT, Tocopherol, Benzyl Alcohol, Potassium Sorbate.
1. Wash hands thoroughly and dry
2. Insert one hand in each globe and fasten the strap for comfort
3. Remove after 10 minutes. No need to rinse
4. Massage remaining product into skin
The Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Cica Repair Hand Mask is £2.99 which I think is a pretty great price, especially if it does intensively hydrate the hands for upto a week.
I think a mask like this would be particularly great before a special occasion, or after having gel/acrylic nails removed, to help hydrate the skin and replenish any lost moisture.
If you’re tempted to give the hand mask a try, they’re available now..
