Natasha Denona Mini Bronze & Glow Duo Review / Swatches

I’m a massive fan of the Natasha Denona eyeshadow formula, but I hadn’t tried any of the brand’s face formulas, so I decided to try the Natasha Denona Mini Bronze & Glow Duo, as it looked like such a beautiful face duo.

I did get the Natasha Denona Bloom Highlighting Blush in the 2020 Cult Beauty Advent Calendar, but I haven’t got round to trying it yet, so keep on reading to find out all about the Natasha Denona Mini Bronze & Glow Duo.

The Natasha Denona Mini Bronze & Glow Duo is a mini, compact and travel friendly powder duo, which features the powder highlighter from the Natasha Denona Diamond & Blush Palette in Citrus, and a new never-seen-before bronzer powder.

Inside the duo, there are the following two shades;

  • Glow Extreme Highlighter (medium nude)
  • Bronze Blush

It’s a little confusing that the duo is called the Natasha Denona Mini Bronze & Glow Duo, yet the brand has named the bronzer shade as “Blush”, and it’s definitely not a blush. It’s a straight up, matte bronzer in a warm toned light brown shade.

I’m surprised by how deep the highlighter shade is within the duo. It’s much too dark for skintones like mine, to use as a highlighter. Even with the lightest of hands, it’s too deep, which is a shame, as the bronzer shade works nicely.

The bronzer is reasonably light, so it’s strange that the brand would pair a deep highlighter and a light bronzer together, as it would’ve been better to create two versions of the duo, to cater for both lighter and deeper skintones.

Whilst this duo is supposed to be a face duo, I’ve actually much preferred it as an eyeshadow duo. The two shades look beautiful on the eyes, and it would be the most perfect travel duo.

The highlighter is super glowy and sparkly, and the matte shade works beautifully through the crease. I would try more Natasha Denona face powders after trying this duo, as the formula is beautiful.
