The Natasha Denona Dogbane Chromium Liquid Eyeshadow is one of five stunning liquid multichrome eyeshadows which launched towards the end of last year.
I tried one shade and was so blown away, I ordered the other four, and I am still blown away by these liquid shadows. I’ve already reviewed Infra Nude and Scarab, and today I have Dog Bane to show you.

Natasha Denona Dogbane Chromium Liquid Eyeshadow
“The most SHOW-STOPPING and AWE-INSPIRING liquid eyeshadows! Provides a water-rich, jelly texture with a fresh hydrating feel, while leaving an unparalleled multi-chrome finish.
The multi-dimensional color experience is given by the innovative silica-based pearlescent pigments with color travel properties, i.e. color-changing at different angles due to the light reflection.“
When it comes to brand descriptions, they’re always full of positive claims and promises, so I rarely trust them until I’ve tried the product myself as I’m such a sceptic. The brand’s swatches looked amazing, showing each of the shades as having three different shifts.
I’d tried multichrome powder eyeshadows, but I’d never tried any liquid formulations, so I decided to purchase the Natasha Denona Dogbane Chromium Liquid Eyeshadow to see if it lived up to its claims.
The Natasha Denona Dogbane Chromium Liquid Eyeshadow is packaged within a clear plastic tube, with a doefoot applicator which you can use to apply the shadow directly onto the lids, or you can use a brush to use the shadow as a multichrome eyeliner too.
Out of all five shades, the Natasha Denona Dogbane Chromium Liquid Eyeshadow, is the least colour shifting shade compared to the others. There’s still definitely a colour shift which hopefully I’ve shown in the swatches above, but it doesn’t transform into magical greens, reds or blues like the other shades.
I find Dogbane to be the perfect everyday shade, as this shade works with absolutely any eyeshadow colour whatsoever. It can be layered as a top coat over any eyeshadow, to add a multichrome effect, and really elevates your makeup look in seconds.
I cannot rave about the Natasha Denona Chromium Multichromes enough, and I just wish she’d make them part of their permanent collection as they’re incredible.
