When the NARS Orgasm On The Beach Cheek Palette was revealed back in May, I couldn’t wait for it to launch, as it looked like such a beautiful palette, and I have quite the collection of NARS blush palettes as I love the formula of NARS cheek powders so much.
“Sun down. Shade up. Plunge summer color into new depths with Orgasm on the Beach Cheek Palette, featuring six sunkissed coral and golden shades inspired by the iconic, peachy-pink Orgasm. Translucent micro-spheres suspend pure pigments to form an innovative powder base that achieves maximum color clarity.
Lightweight formula builds effortlessly and blends seamlessly onto any skin tone, revealing color in its truest, most vibrant form. Endless Orgasm. Endless summer.“
We always see at least one NARS Orgasm themed collection throughout the year, and this cheek palette, of course, features the Orgasm Blusher inside, with five other face powders.
The NARS Orgasm On The Beach Cheek Palette is beautifully presented, with a rose gold chrome compact with a large mirror inside the lid, and the six powders contain 3g / 0.10oz of product. On the top of the powders, there’s a NARS embossed design both on the top row, and the bottom row, and it looks so chic.
NARS Orgasm On The Beach Cheek Palette Swatches
- TURTLE BAY (shimmering peach champagne)
- NAPLES (metallic rose gold)
- MANDALAY (satin caramel bronze)
- MONTEZUMA (shimmering golden peach)
- ORGASM (peachy pink with golden shimmer)
- ZUMA (satin rouge)
All six shades within this palette are shimmery. So if you don’t shimmery cheek powders, this palette isn’t for you, as even the ‘satin’ shades are loaded with shimmer, but that’s to be expected with a summer themed palette.
Especially because NARS Orgasm is a super shimmery shade, so it makes sense that the blusher’s namesake palette would feature the same finish. I’m glad there are no chunky glitter shades though, they all look glowy on the skin without emphasising texture.
I like cheek powder palettes as you can use shades individually or easily blend shades together, and they’re so perfect for travel, as you’re getting blushers, highlighter and a bronzer all-in-one, which can also be used on the eyes.
