NARS launched their The Bronzing Collection this week, which included lots of different bronzers, some loose eye pigments, some lip tint oils, and the NARS Laguna Paradise Found Bronzing Powder. The new collection is available across the world right now, but it is limited edition.
NARS Laguna Paradise Found Bronzing Powder
The NARS The Bronzing Collection features four matte bronzers, four shimmer bronzers and one ‘special’ bronzer, which is the NARS Laguna Paradise Found Bronzing Powder.
Every year, NARS tend to launch a special, limited edition bronzer that typically features a golden overspray and this year it’s the Paradise Found Bronzing Powder, which looks truly beautiful.
If you are a NARS fan, I can pretty much guarantee you’ve either tried Laguna in the past, or you own at least one Laguna in your collection.
I have several NARS blush/bronzer palettes, and I think I have at least four Lagunas within my collection. It’s their signature, best-selling bronzer so it makes sense that they’d choose Laguna for this special edition.
The NARS Laguna Paradise Found Bronzing Powder is described as being the most luxurious Laguna, in an oversized compact of the cult-favourite shade, designed with a shimmering sand-wave design and scented with NARS signature French Polynesian Monoï de Tahiti oils.
The bronzer features diffused powders with a golden shimmer which delivers an all over warmth or definition to the face, creating or enhancing the look of naturally tanned skin.
With finely milled powders to help give a smoother, more even looking complexion with an undetectable finish.
NARS recommend applying the bronzer over the face from the temple, across the cheek and along the jawline to warm the skin up, and blending into the neck and décolleté so there is no line of demarcation.
The NARS Laguna Paradise Found Bronzing Powder is a mega bronzer, with 16 grams of product for $45. That is one seriously large bronzer, so it’ll be ideal for applying to both the face and the body too.
The compact is just stunning, with a metallic, orange rippled effect on the lid which looks similar to the rippled design on the NARS Overlust Cheek Palette.

The rippled design appears to be NARS favourite right now, as they also used the same design for their Afterglow Eyeshadow Palette too.
I love the rippled design, and the colourful lids, as NARS use a lot of black for their packaging normally, so it’s nice to see something new and colourful from the brand. The powder also has a rippled design to complement the design of the lid, but the pan features a pretty golden overspray.
When this bronzer was first revealed, many NARS fans wanted to know if the gold on the powder ran all the way through the powder, but it has definitely been confirmed that the gold on the surface of the powder, is indeed an overspray.
However, from the swatches, it looks like the NARS Laguna Paradise Found Bronzing Powder has a slightly more glowy finish than the original Laguna shade.
There’s no denying that this is a beautiful reincarnation of the iconic Laguna bronzer, and it’s for sure the standout piece in the whole The Bronzing Collection.
