Ah I’m such a big fan of this year’s NARS holiday 2021 collection, and the NARS High Profile Cheek Palette is one of my favourite pieces in the entire collection.
“Contour, highlight, and pop with natural-looking dimension in limited-edition shades made for all skin tones. The blush builds effortlessly and blends seamlessly onto skin, revealing color in its truest, most vibrant form. This coveted palette features an innovative NARS formula in six shades.“
The NARS High Profile Cheek Palette and the rest of the products in the NARS holiday 2021 collection, all have the same packaging designs, with chrome plastic casing, and a layered monochrome NARS ribbon layered over the top.
I love the design, and it reminds me of NARS in 2015 and 2016, I think the chrome pink casing contrasts against the black and white ‘ribbon’ beautifully, and the ribbon design is even carried through to the powder pans too, with a raised pattern, which looks amazing.
The NARS High Profile Cheek Palette is a particularly exciting palette because it doesn’t contain Orgasm, or shades we see promoted in every single palette. I know Orgasm is their big seller, but the repetition is a little tedious, so this palette looks a lot more appealing knowing that Orgasm isn’t included.
The six shades included within the NARS High Profile Cheek Palette are;
- Nude Revue (shimmering bronze)
- Spin Off (shimmering mauve pink)
- High Demand (shimmering cinnamon)
- Hit it Off (shimmering candy pink)
- Showdown (shimmering coral)
- Just Lust (shimmering raspberry)
Inside the palette, you get one bronzer shade and then five blushers. It’s important to note, all six shades in the palette have a ‘shimmer’ finish, so if you prefer matte blushers, the NARS High Profile Cheek Palette isn’t going to be for you. I think it looks like a gorgeous palette, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it, and it’s available right here.
