NARS have kicked off their Spring collection with the amazing NARS Blush Edit Spring 2020. Everybody remembers their first NARS blush (mine was NARS Luster), and they’re always adding new shades to their range.
Usually they add two or three per new collection, but the NARS Blush Edit Spring 2020 is a bumper collection of ten shades – one of which is a repromote of a past shade.
NARS Blush Edit Spring 2020
The NARS Blush Edit Spring 2020 celebrates their cult favourite, bestselling blushes that deliver a weightless and natural looking rush of colour with matte, satin and shimmer finishes. Featuring superfine micronized powder pigments that ensure a soft and blendable application.
They’re buildable from sheet to bold, and they claim to deliver a natural wash of colour for every skintone, from a light swipe of even the highest intensity hues delivering a natural looking flush.
Including a diverse range of iconic shades in matte, satin, and shimmering finishes offer the ability to create endless looks, including the award-winning bestseller, Orgasm.
NARS Blush Edit Spring 2020
- Orgasm X – shimmering deep coral with gold pearl
- Savage – shimmering red brown
- Dominate – shimmering red brown
- Tempted – shimmering mid-tone beige
- Behave – matte pink mauve
- Thrill – matte cool light pink
- Illicit – satin peachy nude
- Aroused – satin deep burgundy
- Zen – neutral beige
- Couer Battant – bright cool fuchsia (REPROMOTE)
The NARS Blush Edit Spring 2020 includes some really pretty shades with a great mixture of tones to suit all skin tones.
Shades like Zen and Behave will be perfect for lighter skin tones, whereas shades like Dominate and Aroused will be perfect for those with deeper skin tones.
I really love the look of a Thrill as it looks like a slightly more lilac toned version of Sex Appeal which is one of my favourite NARS blushes.
NARS Douceur used to be more go-to blush and bronzer shade (similar to Benefit Dallas) but it was discontinued and I’ve been gutted ever since.
There are a couple of shades within the NARS Blush Edit Spring 2020 which I feel could be a NARS Douceur dupe when applied to the skin like Behave, Impassioned or Zen.
Launching ten new shades in one go is so exciting for any NARS blush fan, especially as they’ve brought Coeur Battant back, which was originally part of the 2013 Guy Boursin Collection.
