I’ve tried a few Murad skincare products over the years, but the Murad Prebiotic 4-in-1 MultiCleanser wasn’t a product that was ever on my radar, nor had I ever read a review on it either.
I got the Murad Prebiotic 4-in-1 MultiCleanser as a product within the Cosmetips x Isabel Bedoya Beauty Box, and I was excited to try it, as I had enjoyed every Murad skincare product I’d tried.
What Is The Murad Prebiotic 4-in-1 MultiCleanser?
The Murad Prebiotic 4-in-1 MultiCleanser is marketed as being a gel-to-oil makeup removing cleanser, which nourishes the skin with prebiotics, helping to balance the skin’s microbiome for healthier looking skin.
Murad claim this 4-in-1 product has a non-drying formula, with an ultra-cleansing peptide, melting away makeup, dirt and excess oil, while the moisturising emollients deeply hydrate the skin.
When it comes to cleansers, they’re typically designed for one or two skin types, but the Murad Prebiotic 4-in-1 MultiCleanser is suitable for those with normal, oily, combination, dry and sensitive – that’d be all skin types then!
Murad Prebiotic 4-in-1 MultiCleanser is £38, and contains 150ml of product within a purple plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The pump dispenses the perfect amount of product, with one pump being enough to cleanse bare skin, and two pumps for the removal of makeup.
Murad designed this prebiotic infused cleanser to be used both on wet or dry skin. Having tried both methods, I much prefer the emulsifying effect when massaged into wet skin.
But the fact the cleanser can be used on dry skin, with a cotton pad, makes it handy if you’re travelling, or for times you might not have easy access to a sink with running water – like camping, or if you’re in hospital.
The Murad Prebiotic 4-in-1 MultiCleanser is described as being a gel-to-oil, but to me, it’s more of a milk-to-oil, and it supposedly infuses moisture up to 15 layers into skin’s surface.
A little goes a long way, and when mixed with water, the oil feels so hydrating on the skin. My favourite thing about this cleanser, is how gentle it is. I could be having the worst skin flare-up, and this cleanser never stings, never burns, nor does it leave my skin feeling tight or uncomfortable.
Whilst it is lovely and gentle, it’s still a very effective cleanser, and melts away makeup with very little effort; even the more stubborn mascara formulas. If you have dry and or sensitive skin, you’d love this cleanser, and it makes me want to try the Prebiotic 3-in-1 MultiMist next.
