Another day, another beauty collaboration, and this time it’s the Morphe x Sour Patch Kids Collaboration. I don’t think this was a collaboration anyone could have guessed would be in the works for a brand like Morphe.
Sally Hansen have collaborated with Sour Patch Kids for two nail polish collections, and now we can have sour candy / sweet inspired makeup products too!

Morphe x Sour Patch Kids Collaboration
Morphe are loving their food and drink themed collaborations, with their Cherry Coke collection launching a few weeks ago, and their two Coca-Cola collaborations. It’s kinda random, but it’s very colourful, and represents the brightly coloured sour candies perfectly.
So, what exactly are Sour Patch Kids? According to Wikipedia, they are a brand of soft candy with a coating of invert sugar and sour sugar (a combination of citric acid, tartaric acid, and sugar). We only recently got them in the UK, and I have tried them, and they’re probably the most sour sweet I’ve ever tried, and they’re very colourful.
So the Morphe x Sour Patch Kids Collaboration has been created, inspired by the candies, with a collection of products, with bright and colourful packaging designs, which are super cute, like the above Morphe x Sour Patch Kids Colorful Crew Beauty Sponge Set.
This set looks like it includes five different beauty sponges in different colours and shapes, with little Sour Patch Kids embossed designs on the sponges. The colours include are yellow, pink, blue, orange and green – just like the colours of the sweets / candies.
Next up in the Morphe x Sour Patch Kids Collaboration is the Pucker Party Lip Gloss, which looks to be a shimmery light pink. I love the packaging so much, and I really hope it smells like watermelon if the little watermelons are anything to go by.
Another product for the lips is the Candy Sweet Lip Scrub, which is available in two flavours / colours – one blue, and one red. I don’t know if they’ll be available in a duo set, or just individually, but they look amazing.
The product I need within the Morphe x Sour Patch Kids Collaboration has to be the Watermelon Slice Continuos Setting Mist. I love the original, but a watermelon version? Sold! Imagine how delicious it’s going to smell…
Then we have the final product, and it’s the Morphe x Sour Patch Kids Collaboration Sour Then Sweet Artistry Palette, featuring eighteen powder shadows in super colourful shades.
The little embossed Sour Patch Kids designs on the matte shades are really cute, and the shades couldn’t be more fitting for a sour candy collaboration, and the entire collection is launching on the 23rd of September right here.
