When the news broke, that Morphe were collaborating with Saweetie, it got mixed reactions and it’s now officially launch time!
The Morphe Saweetie 24A Artist Pass Palette is just one piece from the Morphe x Saweetie Platinum Collection, and it’s priced at £29 / $29 / €33. This is the first collaboration Morphe have ever done with a musician rather than a beauty influencer.
Morphe Saweetie 24A Artist Pass Palette
The Morphe Saweetie 24A Artist Pass Palette launches in less than 24 hours, alongside the rest of the collection, but what other products feature within the collection?
- Icy Lips Trio (featuring three shimmering lip glosses in the shades Bo$$ Tycoon, Money Mami and 8”) £20
- 24A Artist’s Pass 24 shade Eyeshadow Palette £29
- Mini Continuous Setting Spray in the scent Saweet Peach £10
- VIP Sweep by Saweetie 6 Piece Face and Eye Brush Kit and Belt Bag £29 (£58 value)
The new Morphe x Saweetie collection is titled ‘Backstage with Saweetie’ and is festival inspired. The promotional images for the collection are beautifully vibrant, and fit the festival vibe perfectly. If you’re unsure who Saweetie is, she’s a Bay Area rapper.
Titled “Backstage with Saweetie,” the festival-inspired collection showcases the star’s “Icy Girl” mantra that is all about embracing your sexuality and feeling confident.
The Morphe Saweetie 24A Artist Pass Palette has a cardboard style design, with a mirror inside the lid. This is quite a new feature for Morphe, as they only ever include mirrors inside their 9 pan palettes with plastic packaging, but the Morphe Saweetie 24A Artist Pass Palette has a mirror which is always very handy to have.
The outside of the palette features a pretty yellow, purple, pink and orange sunset inspired colour scheme, and the same colours feature inside the palette too.
All Access / #FOTD / Wild Out / Security / Stage Persona

The Morphe Saweetie 24A Artist Pass Palette is unique for Morphe, as it features mixed finishes. Usually their palettes feature a mix of matte, shimmer, satin and metallics but this palette has some pressed glitters too.
The layout is a little unique too. There are two rows of five shades at the top and bottom of the palette, and then the middle row features four, larger pan shades.
I like the layout of the Morphe Saweetie 24A Artist Pass Palette, as the top two rows are more neutral and perhaps more everyday shades.
Then the bottom two rows are your more colourful, festival pop shades. The top row in the bottom two rows are almost neon bright mattes, and the last row in the palette are all pressed glitters.
The row of larger shades in the centre of the palette, look like accent shades and shadow toppers – and one of the shades (Spotlight Stealer) is a pressed glitter with star glitter pieces.
I don’t like pressed glitters inside an eyeshadow palette, as you then have the issue where the powder fallout can fall into the pans of the pressed glitters which tend to have a balmy base, to help them adhere to the skin.
Something to think about is if the pressed glitters and neon shades within the Morphe Saweetie 24A Artist Pass Palette are eye safe, as I haven’t seen anything online to say either way.
Especially Spotlight Stealer with the star glitter pieces, I can’t imagine that’s something you can apply to your eyelids, but we will have to wait for the full launch to know for sure.
For £29, I think it’s a really pretty palette and a must-have for anyone that likes to experiment with colour for their eye makeup looks.
