Whenever Morphe launch something new, there’s always a little hype and build-up on social media, but they’ve launched the Morphe Lip Shine with an underwhelming Instagram post. If you love lip gloss, you’ll potentially love the new Morphe Lip Shine.

Compared to some of the exciting, more colourful launches Morphe do, the Morphe Lip Shine might seem a little boring to some people as it’s essentially just a clear lip gloss.
However, everyone needs a good quality clear lip gloss in their collection, and this looks like a really great clear lip gloss option.
The Morphe Lip Shine is $9 / £10 and contains 4.5ml of product within a clear, plastic, squeezy tube. This gloss has a slanted, plastic applicator with a hole where the gloss squeezes out which you can apply directly to the lip, or squeeze onto the applicator and then you can apply to the lips with a lip brush, or your fingertip.

I really like the packaging of this gloss, as whilst many prefer glosses to have doefoot applicators, a clear gloss is handy for layering over absolutely any other lipstick or lip liner. If you use a doefoot applicator to apply a clear gloss, it quickly gets stained with the lip colour you’re layering it with.
Morphe launched some squeezy plastic tube format glosses within their Saweetie x Morphe collection, so it looks like this might be a clear version of that formula, so if you enjoyed those lip glosses, you might enjoy the new Morphe Lip Shine.
