When news broke last night that Morphe and Jaclyn Hill were collaborating once more, with the Morphe Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette Volume II, there was a lot of buzz on social media. Morphe were a tiny private label LA based beauty brand, before Jaclyn Hill started promoting their products five years ago.
Jaclyn Hill has collaborated with Morphe many times before. First there was the Morphe Jaclyn Hill Favourites Palette five years ago, where Jaclyn chose her favourite Morphe individual eyeshadows.
Then came the Morphe Jaclyn Hill Palette which launched over two years ago, which was a massive success for both Morphe and Jaclyn. Then came the Vault Collection of Mini Palettes in Jun 2018, followed by the Morphe Jaclyn Hill Brush Collection in August 2018.
Each collaboration between Morphe and Jaclyn Hill has been super popular, so it’s no surprise that they’d collaborate once again. Jaclyn Hill made hints that a collaboration with a brand was imminent in her newest YouTube video, and it’s now confirmed that the collaboration is the Morphe Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette Volume II.
Jaclyn Hill has had a turbulent 12 months with the launch of her own brand Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics in the summer of 2019, which was a pretty controversial launch for Jaclyn.
She launched a range of lipsticks, which turned out to be contaminated, and she had to recall the whole line, and refund all purchases. I have to admit, I don’t think I would have been brave enough to carry on creating products if it had been, but she showed amazing resilience and went on to launch a highlighter collection for the Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics Holiday collection.
Morphe Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette Volume II
The original Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette sold out in just 45 minutes, so it’s guaranteed that the Morphe Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette Volume II will have a similar success. The Morphe Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette Volume II is described as featuring the same matte, satin and shimmer formula that were in the original however, the new Morphe Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette Volume II will feature a brand-new pressed glitter formula in gold and neutral tones. The pressed glitters have been created so they can be used with your fingertip for application, or be applied with a dampened eyeshadow brush.
Not only is Jaclyn launching the second volume of her highly coveted palettes, they’re also adding 15 more brushes to her existing Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Master Collection:
The Jaclyn Hill Palette Volume II and The Master Remix Collection launch globally on the 13th of February, in both Morphe stores and on the Morphe website. The palette looks really stunning, with a lot less neutral tones compared to the original. Instead of pale neutrals, there’s lots of bright and vibrant colour.

There’s some beautiful pinks, purples, reds, berries, mauves and a black. One of the biggest criticisms of the original palette was the lack of black, so I’m very happy to see that the new Morphe Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette Volume II will contain a black, so we can create more intense makeup looks.
Packaging wise it looks very similar to the original, with a silver coloured cardboard design, with 35 large eyeshadow pans. I like that they’ve kept the design similar to the original, and the palette is very lightweight which is good. I have the original Jaclyn Palette and I love it, so I will definitely be purchasing the Morphe Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette Volume II once it launches on Cult Beauty or the Morphe UK website.
