Whenever Melt are about to launch something new, the co-founders (Dana and Lora) tend to share the product on their Instagram, and the Melt Cosmetics Ultra Matte Bronzers, the brand’s latest launch, was previewed by both Dana and Lora.
We don’t usually see a lot of bronzers launching in August. May is usually ‘bronzer month’ so it’s surprising to see Melt Cosmetics launch their new powders bronzers at the end of summer, but they look like gorgeous bronzers regardless.
“This buildable ultra-matte powder formula blends like a cream, effortlessly melting into your skin – no patchiness or harsh lines.☀️ Get smooth and sunless warmth in 4 luxurious shades.“
The Melt Cosmetics Ultra Matte Bronzers is a brand new collection of four powder bronzers. The brand already has their sculpting stacks, but they don’t have individual powder bronzers, so they’re a great addition to their range.
Each of the bronzers is housed within rose gold, chrome compacts, with a sunburst design on the lids. The compacts all feature a nice size mirror inside the lid, and the formula is 100% vegan, and the compacts a decent size, as you’re getting 0.36oz/10.40g of product for $39.
Melt Cosmetics Ultra Matte Bronzers Swatches
The Melt Cosmetics Ultra Matte Bronzers are available in the following four shades;
- Santa Barbara – light toffee caramel
- Santa Cruz – medium chestnut brown
- Malibu – tan russet cocoa
- Long Beach – deep rust terracotta
I really like the look of the undertones for the four bronzers. None of them look too orange. Instead, they have an authentic natural golden or neutral undertone, to give a natural warmth to the skin. It’s also good to see the shade Long Beach caters for the deeper skintones, and in the swatches, the formula looks very smooth with a subtle satin finish, rather than being a flat matte, and you’ll find the bronzers right here.
