I’m always happy to see a new Maybelline launch, and this week we’ve seen two! The Maybelline Lifter Gloss Lip Gloss Collection and also the Maybelline Color Strike Eyeshadow Pen Collection.
I’ve already dedicated a whole post to the Color Strike launch, so I thought it was only fair that the Maybelline Lifter Gloss Lip Gloss Collection got their own dedicated post too.

Maybelline Lifter Gloss Lip Gloss Collection
When it comes to lip products, I much prefer the care-free, low maintenance vibe of a lip gloss. You don’t have to worry about flaking, uneven wear or smudging and unless you live in a wind tunnel, they’re just so easy to apply and wear.
The Maybelline Lifter Gloss Lip Gloss Collection is Maybelline’s newest lip gloss formula, with the tagline; ‘gloss gets a lift’, delivering fuller looking lips and lasting hydration.
Maybelline have had many different lip gloss formulas over the years, but this new formula sounds like their best ever formula to date..
“Meet Lifter Gloss, Maybelline NY’s new next level lip gloss. Lip gloss formula visibly smoothes lip surface and enhances lip contour with high shine for hydrated, fuller-looking lips. Formula with Hyaluronic Acid.” – Maybelline
The Maybelline Lifter Gloss Lip Gloss claims to drench the lips with hydrating shine for a fuller, lifted look.

Maybelline have designed their new glosses to have an XL wand that transforms lips in an easy, one swipe application.
In a consumer test, 90% of those that participated agreed their lips felt more hydrating after using the Maybelline Lifter Gloss Lip Gloss formula.
Directions
Step 1. Apply lip gloss with the XL wand applicator in the centre of your upper lip and follow the contours of your mouth.
Step 2. Glide the lip gloss across the entire bottom lip.
The Maybelline Lifter Gloss Lip Gloss collection consists of ten pretty shades;

I love the packaging on this new gloss collection, with clear plastic tubes and nude coloured lids. The packaging gives me KKW Beauty vibes, as the packaging is very, very similar.
This new gloss collection is set to hit stores imminently, alongside the Color Strike Pens (which are also available via Amazon) and I’ll be sure to update this post as soon as they officially launch.
