Max Factor have had a few new launches this year already, with their Blue Lash Primer and Miracle Second Skin Hybrid Foundation. The Max Factor Lipfinity Velvet Matte Lipsticks aren’t a completely new launch, but they are a new launch for the UK.
I’m unsure why but the Max Factor Lipfinity Velvet Matte Lipsticks have been available across Europe for a couple of years, but they’ve only just made their way to the UK. Normally it’s the US that gets new products before the UK, but it’s so strange that Max Factor didn’t launch them here when they’re already available across Europe.
Max Factor Lipfinity Velvet Matte Lipsticks
The Max Factor Lipfinity Velvet Matte Lipsticks will help you achieve the matte look, with a high impact formula giving you a bold and velvet matte finish that lasts all day. The lipsticks are all infused with coconut and vitamin E, providing both high intensity colour and ultimate comfort.

Each of the Max Factor Lipfinity Velvet Matte Lipsticks are £9.99, and they’re available from both Boots and Superdrug. On the Max Factor website, there are twelve shades on offer but it appears that only eight of the shades are available in the UK; Nude Silk, Matte Merlot, Red Luxury, Coco Creme, Cool Coral, Elegant Brown, Red Allure and Posh Pink.
The packaging is sleek, with a clear plastic tube, black plastic lid and a doefoot applicator. Max Factor recommend applying two layers of the lipstick for long lasting, opaque colour.
The Max Factor Lipfinity Kits have been around for many years, where you’d apply a liquid lipstick and then top it with a balm, and they used to wear on the lips for upto 24 hours.
The new formula also sounds more comfortable as the original formula was very drying on the lips, but the new liquid lipsticks contain coconut oil and vitamin E. It looks like the Max Factor Lipfinity Velvet Matte Lipsticks have been designed to be a more modern version of their original Lipfinity Kits, and they’re available now.
