As soon as I read about the new Max Factor False Lash Effect Max Primer, I knew I had to write about it as it’s unlike any other lash primer I’ve seen before.
The Max Factor False Lash Effect range of mascaras are one of the brand’s most popular ranges, and this new lash primer has launched alongside the mascaras but it can be used with any brand of mascara.
Priced at £11.99, it’s definitely one of the most expensive lash primers within the drugstore, but why is it unique? Keep on reading to find out more…

The Max Factor False Lash Effect Max Primer isn’t Max Factor’s only lash primer, as they’ve also recently launched their Lash Revival Volume Boosting Primer to go alongside their Lash Revival Mascara however that primer is the conventional white colour you generally see with lash primers.
The packaging of this blue lash primer is identical to their False Lash Effect Mascara, with a rounded, chunky tube but instead of being black, it’s white with a blue metallic strip around the middle.
The Max Factor False Lash Effect Max Primer brush is also identical, with plastic bristles which taper towards the end of the brush. It is currently only available on the Superdrug website, until it’s full launch in March but if you like trying the more unique beauty products, this lash primer might be worth a try.
