Marc Jacobs Extra Shot Caffeine Concealer and Foundation
The Marc Jacobs Extra Shot Caffeine Concealer and Foundation is a brand new two-in-one, caffeine-infused concealer and foundation offering natural-looking, full coverage and all-day wear to visibly brighten and reenergise all skin types.
It’s been a while since we saw a new complexion product from Marc Jacobs, so this particular launch is even more exciting for the brand, and it’s a product I definitely want to try myself.
This new 2-in-1 foundation and concealer duo is $39, and contains 0.5 oz/ 15 mL of product within an extremely sleek, frosted glass bottle and a gold mirrored lid. It’s such beautiful, luxurious packaging, and would look beautiful in anyone’s makeup bag or on a vanity.
I’m surprised that there’s only 15ml of product in the tube, as foundations tend to be around 30ml, so I imagine the pigmentation is impressive enough that you don’t need much product for full coverage, and concealers are always smaller.
Key Ingredients
- Caffeine: Visibly reenergizes and revives skin.
- Oat Extract: Calms and soothes skin.
- Five Forms of Coconut: Hydrate and nourish skin with an abundance of vitamins and nutrients.
The Marc Jacobs Extra Shot Caffeine Concealer and Foundation is said to be able to help you fake extra sleep, with a flawless finish on the skin. With a hydrating, crease-resistant formula that blends seamlessly to quickly conceal dark circles, blemishes, and redness.
Inside the tube, the concealer features an oversized applicator for quick, all-over coverage, it works double time as a buildable foundation for a visibly smoother, more even-toned complexion.
The Marc Jacobs Extra Shot Caffeine Concealer and Foundation is available in 30 different shades, and are categorised into four shade families; Light, Medium, Tan and Deep. The lightest shade on offer is Light 110, and the deepest shade on offer is Deep 490.
For a product which is mostly marketed as being a concealer, I don’t think 30 shades is too bad at all. There’s a great mix of tones, and shades for most skintones too.
On the Sephora website, there’s a rundown for each of the shades, which will make it easier for you to find your perfect shade match. It sounds like an amazing concealer/foundation hybrid, and it’s available for purchase right here.
