Revolution have launched their latest influencer collab, and it’s the Makeup Obsession x Wersow Collaboration.
Makeup Obsession have collaborated with Wersow; a super popular Polish influencer with millions of followers and subscribers, and they’ve created a whole collection of products. Keep on reading to find out more….
Makeup Obsession x Wersow Collaboration
We saw Revolution collaborate with Roxi earlier this year, but before then, it had been a while since we saw an influencer collaboration from Revolution, as they’ve done a few licensed collaborations lately with Disney and Friends.
This collection includes nine different products in total, and everything has really chic packaging, with products for the eyes, lips, cheeks and brows.
The first product within the Makeup Obsession x Wersow Collaboration is the Makeup Obsession x Wersow You Got This Eyeshadow Palette, which is £12 and features cardboard packaging and contains sixteen shades.
“The Makeup Obsession x Wersow You Got This Shadow Palette features 16 must-have shades carefully chosen by Wersow to help you create eye looks that POP.
With an edit of 12 soft mattes and 4 creamy metallic foils in a mix of transitional nudes and warm-toned pink and purple hues, you’ll have all the shades you need to create your favourite looks.
Encased in a chic gold magnetic palette embossed with Wersow’s signature owl logo, it’s is the perfect addition to any makeup bag to take you from day to night.“
The Makeup Obsession x Wersow Collaboration has a nice mix of both warm tones and cool tones too, with the middle row of the palette featuring four multidimensional shades to add glitz and dimension to your makeup look. The outside of the palette is covered in little owls which is cute.
Next up in the Makeup Obsession x Wersow Collaboration is something a little different, and something we’ve not seen Revolution launch as part of a collab before. It’s a two-piece brow brush set; the Makeup Obsession x Wersow Brow Brush Set, and is £5.
“The Makeup Obsession x Wersow Brow Brush Set features two must-have brushes for achieving the ultimate brow look.
This duo includes a small angled brush that’s perfect for creating hair-like strokes or adding product to sparse areas and a spoolie brush to groom brows into place.“
It’s a two-piece set including a brow spoolie, and an angled brow brush to use with brow powders, creams, gels and can be used for lining the eyes too. The brushes have wooden handles, and golden metal ferrules.
There are three lip products within the Makeup Obsession x Wersow Collaboration, and they are the Makeup Obsession x Wersow Mostly Matte Lip Glosses. There’s three shades to choose from, and they’re £5 each.
“The Makeup Obsession x Wersow collection includes a trio of essential lip glosses perfect for any makeup collection. In a mix of matte, cream and gloss finishes, you’ll be sure to find your next gloss obsession!”
The name of these glosses is a little strange, as they’re not matte glosses. They’re creme glosses with no shimmer or glitter. Matte refers to the end finish on the lips, and they’re lip glosses, so they’re not matte, but they are creme glosses rather than being shimmer glosses, and they are available in three shades;
- Crystal Clear – Glass-like shine
- Soft Cream – creamy mauve
- Mostly Matte – peach nude
The next product in the Makeup Obsession x Wersow Collaboration is one for the brows, and is the Makeup Obsession x Wersow Hello Brows Brow Kit, which has cardboard packaging and is on sale for £5. This palette houses four pans, each of which have a split design, giving you eight brow powders in the one palette.
“The Makeup Obsession x Wersow Hello Brows is the must-have kit for the brow-obsessed. Featuring four pans of duo shades carefully selected by Wersow to allow you to create the ultimate balayage brow.
Encased in a travel friendly gold magnetic palette embossed with Wersow’s signature owl logo, it’s is the perfect addition to any makeup bag.“
I’m not sure the average beauty consumer has the need for eight different brow powders in the one palette, but this palette will be good for makeup artists, as they need to have lots of different brow shades on hand. For £5, it’s a great palette and the cardboard packaging means it’d be light within a makeup artists kit too.
The last product in the Makeup Obsession x Wersow Collaboration is the Makeup Obsession x Wersow Pink Me Up Face Palette which is £8, and contains four cheek powders inside cardboard packaging.
“The Makeup Obsession x Wersow Pink Me Up Face Palette features 4 creamy pressed contour, bronzer, highlight and blush powders carefully chosen by Wersow to create defined cheekbones and a radiant glow.
Encased in a chic gold magnetic palette embossed with Wersow’s signature owl logo, it’s is the perfect addition to any makeup bag.”
In this palette there’s one blusher, two contour shades and one highlighter in the following names;
- Bubble Trouble – A deeper contour shade perfect for adding definition
- Candy Trendy – The ultimate warm-toned peach blush
- Easy Glowing – A soft-cream champagne highlighter for cheekbones that POP
- Chocolate Logo – A cool-toned creamy powder perfect for contour
I’m a little confused about this palette and the name. It’s called Pink Me Up with a bright orange blusher (according to the stock image), and zero pink?
It’s still a very pretty face palette, and I love that there’s a little owl embossment in two of the powders, just like the eyeshadows. It’s quite a deep palette, so will be one for medium to deep skintones, and features a marbled highlighter too.
So that’s the entire Makeup Obsession x Wersow collaboration. It’s now available on the Revolution website, and everything is super affordable, and is priced under £10, and is available right here.
