Yesterday saw the launch of three new Makeup Obsession launches, including the Makeup Obsession Tropical Prime and Essence Mist.
In addition to the new facial mist, Makeup Obsession also launched the Crystal Waves Palette and LA Dreams Palette too. It’s been three months since we saw any new Makeup Obsession product launches which is a lifetime in Revolution world.
Makeup Obsession Tropical Prime and Essence Mist
The Makeup Obsession Tropical Prime and Essence Mist is described on the Revolution website as the following;
“This refreshing face mist contains niacinamide and a blend of tropical fruit extracts, plus tiny irredescant particals (iridescent particles? 2 major typos there) that catch the light for extra luminesance (luminescence? another typo).” – Revolution
The Makeup Obsession Tropical Prime and Essence Mist is described as having a “mago” scent, which I can only assume is supposed to be “mango” but who knows? And is said to be like summer in a bottle.
The Makeup Obsession Tropical Prime and Essence Mist is packaged within a clear plastic bottle, with a white plastic pump. There’s a cute leaf design printed on the top and bottom of the bottle which I really like, and you get 100ml of product for just £7 which is nice and affordable.
Ingredients
AQUA (WATER, EAU), ALCOHOL DENAT., BIS-PEG-18 METHYL ETHER DIMETHYL SILANE, NIACINAMIDE, PHENOXYETHANOL, PARFUM (FRAGRANCE), GLYCERIN, CALCIUM SODIUM BOROSILICATE, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, DISODIUM EDTA, VACCINIUM ANGUSTIFOLIUM (BLUEBERRY) FRUIT EXTRACT, EUTERPE OLERACEA FRUIT EXTRACT, LYCIUM CHINENSE FRUIT EXTRACT, SAMBUCUS NIGRA FRUIT EXTRACT, CITRONELLOL, GERANIOL, POTASSIUM SORBATE, SODIUM BENZOATE, AMYL CINNAMAL, TIN OXIDE, CI 77891 (TITANIUM DIOXIDE), CI 42090 (BLUE 1), CI 19140 (YELLOW 5).
Looking at the photos shared on Instagram, the Makeup Obsession Tropical Prime and Essence Mist looks to have a pale green hue, and looks to be filled with shimmer particles which look really pretty.
I can’t tell whether the shimmer particles are green or not, but it does look like they could possibly be green, within the green coloured mist? It still sounds like a lovely facial mist, and for £7, it’s great value and available right now.
