The Makeup Obsession Smokin’ Eyeshadow Palette is one of two new palettes that have launched today, with the Makeup Obsession Feelin Spicy Palette also launching.
The Makeup Obsession Feelin Spicy Palette launched in mainland Europe at the start of October, but it’s now on the Revolution website alongside the Makeup Obsession Smokin’ Eyeshadow Palette.
Makeup Obsession Smokin’ Eyeshadow Palette
The Makeup Obsession Smokin’ Eyeshadow Palette is one of the mini palettes within the Makeup Obsession Monochromatic Palette collection, and features the same cardboard style packaging as all of the Makeup Obsession palettes, and features nine powder shadows.
These palettes are tiny, and they’re smaller than they appear in stock images. The pans are seriously small with only 0.38g per shade – meaning you’re getting less than one gram per shadow.
In other Revolution palettes you get between 1g to 1.3g per shade, so for the mini Makeup Obsession Palettes, you’re getting a very small amount of product for the money, so it’s just something to consider, as they might only be £5 but overall you’re only getting 3.42 grams for the whole palette which is crazy.
The Makeup Obsession Smokin’ Eyeshadow Palette has an amazing grey and smokey colour story, and gives me Jeffree Star Cremated Palette vibes, but on a much tinier scale. I love the shades in ths palette, especially Sizzle which appears to be a stunning duochrome shade.
These swatches look great too, with a nice mix of finishes. For £5 the Makeup Obsession Smokin’ Eyeshadow Palette is a fab little palette, even with the tiny pans, especially if you want to try a colour story you don’t know if you’ll wear often. If you like the look of this palette as much as I do, it’s available right now on the Revolution website, and I’ve already ordered mine.
