Revolution launched two new palettes today under their Makeup Obsession brand. The Makeup Obsession Daydreamer Eyeshadow Palette is the more muted palette out of the two, whereas the After Dark Palette, like the name suggests, is more intense and deeper in tone.

On social media it was asked if this was the Makeup Obsession Halloween Collection. However, it has now been confirmed that there will be no Makeup Obsession Halloween collection which is such a shame.
The Makeup Obsession brand is the younger, more fun sister brand of Revolution and their main range Halloween collection this year is a little underwhelming.
Usually Revolution kill it with their Halloween collections, but maybe their attentions and focus have been on the Friends collaboration instead.

Many of the Revolution eyeshadow palettes feel repetitive these days, but I actually love the colour story of the Makeup Obsession Daydreamer Eyeshadow Palette. It’s very much a more muted neutral palette, but you have a pop of pink and purple, and a nice mix of shades too. I would buy this palette, and it’s available right now.
