If you’re a fan of the Revolution Makeup Obsession sister brand, they’ve launched a few new products today, one of which being the Makeup Obsession Crystal Waves Eyeshadow Palette. If you’d like to find out all about this new Makeup Obsession Crystal Waves Eyeshadow Palette, keep on reading..
Makeup Obsession Crystal Waves Eyeshadow Palette
Compared to the other Revolution sister brands (I Heart Revolution, Revolution Pro and XX Revolution), Makeup Obsession is massively neglected. The Makeup Obsession brand hasn’t launched anything new since March, so it’s definitely overdue that they’d launch something new.
There are three new products today, for Makeup Obsession – two of which are eyeshadow palettes, and there’s also a setting spray too.
The Makeup Obsession Crystal Waves Eyeshadow Palette is £10 and contains sixteen powder eyeshadows. The palette features the same format as the other Makeup Obsession palettes, with cardboard style packaging and pans that can be removed should you wish to.
The Makeup Obsession Crystal Waves Eyeshadow Palette features sixteen shades in a mixture of matte, shimmer and metallic finishes, with a muted theme across the shades.
If you look at these broken pans, they are very muted, but if you look at the shades within the palette (second image in this post), they all look much brighter. For example, Starfish looks like a bright red matte in the palette photo, but it’s actually more of a pastel coral so it’s a little misleading.
Although, if you look at the swatches they are muted shades, so these broken pans are a better representation of the shades than the images of the shades within the palette.
Makeup Obsession Crystal Waves Eyeshadow Palette Shades:
- Baby Pink
- Rose Quartz
- Mother of Pearl
- So Wavey
If you like more muted shades, I think you’d like this palette. Looking at the swatches, it’s a shimmer finish heavy palette so if you prefer more mattes to shimmers, this palette might not be for you. For £10 it’s a pretty palette, and it’s available now.
