Revolution have extended their brow collection once more, with the launch of the Makeup Obsession Brow Goals Brow Kit. Some Revolution launches are really exciting and create a bit of buzz on social media, but this launch is a little underwhelming.
Makeup Obsession Brow Goals Brow Kit
The Makeup Obsession Brow Goals Brow Kit is available in two different colour versions;
• Light to Medium Brown
• Medium to Dark Brown
Each of the two brow kits are £7, and they’re packaged with a baby blue, rubberised soft touch, rounded compact with a mirror inside the lid. Inside the two kits, there are one brow powder, one tinted brow wax, one shimmery powder highlighter and three mini brow tools. There’s a tiny little spoolie, a mini pair of tweezers and a mini angled brow brush. The highlighter, wax and powder are 1.4g each, totalling 4.2g of product overall.
I really don’t think the Makeup Obsession Brow Goals Brow Kit was needed, as Revolution launched Brow Kits four weeks ago. The Revolution Brow Sculpt Kit is only £5, comes in three shades (there’s only two shades of this kit) and it looks so much more luxe – which is crazy when you consider it’s £2 cheaper. It feels like it’s just launching product for products sake, and the kits are absolutely identical apart from the layout.
Why not release something unique? You could perhaps understand it if the Revolution Brow Sculpt Kit launched such months ago, and it was a new and improved formula but it’s been four weeks. There’s nothing in the Makeup Obsession Brow Goals Brow Kit that justifies an extra £2, so I’d recommend sticking with the Brow Sculpt Kit and saving yourself £2!
