The Makeup By Mario Master Metallics Eyeshadow Palette is launching as just one product within the new Makeup By Mario collection. Mario Dedivanovic is perhaps best known for being Kim Kardashian’s makeup artist, has teamed up with Sephora to create his very own beauty range.
Makeup By Mario Master Metallics Eyeshadow Palette
The Makeup By Mario Master Metallics Eyeshadow Palette is just one of three palettes within the collection, but it’s the palette which looks the most interesting in my opinion.
Priced at $48, it’s quite a pricey palette. All of the Makeup By Mario products feature monochrome designs, and this palette has white plastic packaging with twelve rectangular eyeshadow pans. The layout looks very, very similar to the NARS eyeshadow palettes.
Described as being a palette of go-to universal metallic shadows that creates endless eye looks in 12 creamy, luxurious shades that melt onto the lids.
This palette is inspired by Mario’s love of nature. The creamy shadows deliver a range of chromatic effects from natural to intense, with high-impact shine. The luxe formula can be used dry or wet to achieve a light wash or full-coverage colour, for a foil like wet look sheen on the lids.
Directions
- Apply this shadow with your fingers to achieve a quick, allover, beautiful intensity.
- For more detailed application, use the E 4 brush (sold separately) to pat and build the shadow. Wet the brush for extra intensity.
- Use Master Eye Prep & Set™ (sold separately) as a base for superior grip and buildability.
-Lighter shades like Metallic 1, Metallic 5, Metallic 7, and Metallic 8 also work as a face and body highlighter. - For an amplified metallic finish, you can pat Master Secret Glow™ (sold separately) below or over your shadow with your fingers.
The Makeup By Mario Master Metallics Eyeshadow Palette features beautiful, metallic high shine eyeshadows which are best applied with the fingertips, an E4 brush (Mario’s brush) or applied wet for a super impactful sheen.
I think the shades are quite varied within this palette. There’s no colour story or cohesion, so it’s the kind of palette you’d want to use alongside other palettes in your collection to add sheen and extra wow factor to your makeup look.
I can totally see it working well with the Master Mattes Palette, Mario is launching at the same time. You can find the Makeup By Mario Master Metallics Eyeshadow Palette right here.
