It’s been a while since we saw a new MAC mascara, so it’s fun to get two new mascaras at the same time. If you’d like to find out more, keep on reading…
“Stack on infinite layers of volume and length with MACStack Mascara. This never-before-seen continuously buildable, clump-resistant formula gives you customizable gravity-defying volume from natural to next-level, along with instant lash lift and length.“
The MAC MACStack Mascara is said to mirror your unique mood and reflect your individuality with its Superstack Mega Brush, which delivers instant volume at first swipe and is ideal for longer or upper lashes. Magnify your eyes and enlarge your lashes with this major mascara must-have!
MAC are marketing the MAC MACStack Mascara as being a mascara you can continuously build, with infinite layers, which is a claim I’ve never seen in a mascara before. I love to layer my mascara, but three coats tends to be the max you can apply, regardless of the formula.
So the idea of a mascara which can be applied in infinite layers really intrigues me. Like, surely it clumps after 3 or 4?! However, the promotional shots like the one shown above, shows the mascara applied with upto 40 strokes – wow!
The MAC MACStack Mascara is said to have a bigger brush that delivers instant volume and is ideal for longer or upper lashes.
The wand appears to be a neon pink colour, and is a synthetic brush with lots of spiky bristles with a slightly angled effect, with tiny bristles on the tip of the brush for catching the smallest of lashes.
I’m actually excited about trying the new MAC MACStack Mascara, as the claims are so wild, I have to try it, to see if it can be layered infinite times.
Obviously, we’re not going to apply 40 coats of mascara a day, but it would be pretty cool to be able to add as many layers as we need to get our desired lash look, rather than being capped at three coats max, before it comes clump city, and it’s available right now.
