MAC Feast Your Eyes Tempting Fate Eyeshadow Palette
“Satisfy your colour cravings with a limited-edition colour collection so decadent, it should be forbidden. Think plush pigments and tantalizing textures, born backstage – all housed in luxurious special-edition golden packaging.“
I love it whenever MAC has special edition packaging on their limited edition collections, but I have to be honest, I don’t love the packaging on this collection. I get the theme, but everything looks really gaudy in my opinion.
Whilst I don’t like the outer packaging on any of the products, I had to buy the MAC Feast Your Eyes Tempting Fate Eyeshadow Palette as soon as it launched, as the shades inside the palette were definitely more impressive.
“Behold the power of pigment. Feast your eyes on the succulent shades of autumn, dripping in temptation. These saturated shadows in decadent colourful hues are now available in three never-before-seen textures: the metallised Prismetallic Eye Shadow, luminous Leather Lustre Eye Shadow and glitzy Sparkler Eye Shadow. Enrobed in luxurious special-edition, gilded baroque packaging.“
What intrigued me the most, with the MAC Feast Your Eyes Tempting Fate Eyeshadow Palette, was the mention of never-bef0re-seen textures, with three new formulas of eyeshadow; Prismetallic, Leather Lustre and Sparkler. Not only that, the shades look absolutely gorgeous, so I could overlook the packaging design.
This palette features eight powder shadows, with a raised pattern and a mirror inside the lid. I just love the colour story of this palette, and they’re all shades I love wearing, so I had to get my hands on the palette, and I’ll be sure to review and swatch it for you very soon.
Inside the MAC Feast Your Eyes Tempting Fate Eyeshadow Palette, there are the following shades;
- Feast Your Eyes: White gold (Sparkler)
- Yesterday’s Gossip: Pinky Beige (Leather Lustre)
- Golden Rage: Chocolate brown (Leather Lustre)
- Midnight Stunner: Mauvy midtone pink (Leather Lustre)
- All That Jam: Bright copper (Prismetallic)
- What A Pear: Shimmery green with gold pearl (Sparkler)
- Velvet Vamp: Shimmering champagne (Sparkler)
- Brocade Renegade: Deep eggplant purple (Leather Lustre)
I can’t get over how pretty the shadows all look. I really hope they’re as pigmented and multidimensional as these photos, as they’re so beautiful. If you’d like to get your hands on the palette, or the rest of the Tempting Fate collection, it’s available right now.
