MAC Eye Brows Big Boost Fibre Gel

If you’re a fan of the MAC brow product range, you might want to try the new MAC Eye Brows Big Boost Fibre Gel which just got added to their brow collection. MAC are known for their epic lipsticks, foundations or eyeshadows, but I think their brow range is often overlooked compared to other, similarly priced makeup brands.

MAC Eye Brows Big Boost Fibre Gel Directions

  • Starting at the inner brows, brush upward and outward in short strokes.
  • Follow the direction of hair growth for a natural, effortless look.
  • Use the tip of the brush to fill in specific areas.
  • Repeat until desired effect is achieved.

The MAC Eye Brows Big Boost Fibre Gel comes packaged within a clear plastic tube, and a natural bristled small brush which you can use to both apply the tinted brow gel to the brow hairs.

But also to comb it through and style your brows, however you prefer them. I like my brows to look natural so I like to make the front look a little bushy and messy, and then more uniform towards the tail.

MAC Eye Brows Big Boost Fibre Gel

The MAC Eye Brows Big Boost Fibre Gel is £19.50 and contains 6.1ml. Now I’m not 100% sure in the volume of the product, because some sites say 6.1ml whilst others say 4.1. Looking at the stock images, the brow gel looks as if it has a chunky large tube, so I’d guess more 6.1ml than 4.1ml but I obviously can’t confirm either way for certain.

There are eight different shades to choose from;

  • Fling – taupe blonde
  • Tapered – midtone warm brunette
  • Brunette – true brunette
  • Stylized – cool light brunette
  • Lingering – cool muted brunette
  • Stud – deepest black brunette
  • Spiked – deep brunette
  • Strut – reddish brown

Ive tried the MAC Eye Brows, which is a retractable mechanical brow pencil, and the shade I owned was Spiked which was a little too warm for my liking. I think 8 shades isn’t bad at all for a brow range, because let’s face it, there are brands with less shades for foundations or concealers.

From the description, the new MAC Eye Brows Big Boost Fibre Gel is basically a tinted brow gel with fibres within the formula. It offers upto 24 hours of wear, with the small synthetic microfibres helping to add volume and ‘fluff’ to the brows, for a natural fluffy brow look.

I really enjoy tinted brow gels, so I think I’d like the MAC Eye Brows Big Boost Fibre Gel but I think I’d perhaps go for Lingering or Stud as I feel like they’d be better shade matches for me.
