The MAC Botanic Panic collection is one of my favourite collections MAC has ever done in terms of packaging, and the MAC Botanic Panic Fleur Sure Extra Dimension Skinfinish is one of three pieces I purchased from the collection.
The packaging design on the entire collection is just so pretty, and I’ve already shared my review of the MAC Botanic Panic Royal Flush Extra Dimension Skinfinish.
This MAC Botanic Panic Collection generated a lot of buzz on social media when it was first announced, as the promotional imagery for the collection feature Lay Zhang (Yixing) as the spokesperson for the campaign.
The images and videos all looked truly stunning, with the collection launching in the Far East before hitting the US and Europe, where it’s finally available now.
The MAC Botanic Panic Fleur Sure Extra Dimension Skinfinish is one of two shades available within this collection, and both shades feature the prettiest packaging I’ve ever seen MAC launch for their Extra Dimension Skinfinish Powders.
They feature lilac, matte plastic compacts with the prettiest watercolour design on the lids, and this same design features on the boxes too. It’s such a stunning, vibrant design which complements the botanical theme of the collection perfectly.
“Dreaming of beaming? Glow off the garden path with Extra Dimension Skinfinish. This liquid-powder multi-reflective highlighter is designed to sculpt and highlight your complexion for a well-defined metallic finish.
Lasting up to ten hours, the creamy, powder formula now comes in two limited-edition, high-shine shades – one white gold and one golden plum – for a double dose of dewy, on-trend dazzle this season. All of it blooming in fabstract fleurescent packaging.”
The MAC Botanic Panic Fleur Sure Extra Dimension Skinfinish is the highlighter shade from the collection, and Fleur Sure is described by MAC as being a white gold, which I think is a pretty accurate description.
If you’ve never tried the MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish highlighters, they’re very intense in terms of glow, and the MAC Botanic Panic Fleur Sure Extra Dimension Skinfinish is no different.
You can sheer it our for a more subtle glow, but it’s one of the more impactful highlighter formulas. It’s nice and smooth, doesn’t emphasise texture or lines, and also doubles up as a really pretty eyeshadow too.
