I’ve always enjoyed MAC Fix +, but when my last bottle finished, I never repurchased as I was trying other things. The MAC Black Cherry Fix + launched as part of the MAC Black Cherry spring collection, and I knew I had to have it, as it featured a special bottle design, and a special scent too!
“Keep your sakura-inspired makeup looking fresh for up to 12 hours with our holy grail setting spray in a special-edition cherry blossom scent.
Infused with vitamins, minerals, green tea, cham-omile, caffeine, cucumber – and NO alcohol – this 4-in-1 mega-multitasker hydrates, primes, sets and refreshes your look all in one fragrant spritz. Specially housed in limited-edition, moon-bloom packaging.“
The MAC Black Cherry Fix + is a full size, with 100ml / 3.4 fl.oz of product. Sometimes MAC launches their travel sized bottles for limited edition collections, like their rainbow scented Vibes versions launched last summer.
MAC Fix + has a clear plastic bottle with a black pump, and the MAC Black Cherry Fix + has that same design, except the bottle features falling white, pastel pink and blush pink sakura flowers all over.
It’s such a beautiful bottle design, and in my opinion, is the prettiest special edition Fix + bottle design they’ve ever created.
They’ve also included the same design on the outer box, with pink foil writing. It complements the cherry blossom theme perfectly, and I will absolutely be refilling this bottle once it’s finished, as it’s so pretty.
The MAC Black Cherry Fix + is described as having a cherry blossom scent, and the scent is extremely subtle, so if you have sensitive skin like mine, don’t worry about the scent causing sensitivity issues. It is a subtle, sweet floral fragrance, which does make the facial mist even more pleasant to use.
I like using MAC Fix + after applying my powder, as it really helps my makeup to mesh together and look more skin like, whilst removing any cakeiness at the same time. It smells so lovely, and feels very refreshing on the skin, and I’m so glad I added the MAC Black Cherry Fix + to my collection.
