If you’re a regular reader of Makeup Muddle, you’ll know how much I love the MAC Black Cherry Collection, and the MAC Black Cherry Bloombox Matte Lipstick is just one of the products from the spring collection which I bought.

In addition to this lipstick, I’ve also featured and swatched the MAC Black Cherry Fix +, MAC Black Cherry Room To Bloom Extra Dimension Blush, and the MAC Black Cherry Glow Play Lip Balm.
The Black Cherry collection is one of my favourite limited edition collections we’ve seen from MAC in a long time, and everything in the collection has an amazing sakura cherry blossom design, and the MAC Black Cherry Bloombox Matte Lipstick is no different.
The MAC Black Cherry Bloombox Matte Lipstick has black, matte lipstick casing with white and pastel pink blossoms all over, and it just looks so pretty and perfect for Spring.
“Paint your lips very cherry! The iconic product that made M·A·C famous now comes in three sa-kura-inspired shades for Cherry Blossom season.
This rich formula features high-colour payoff in a creamy matte finish to take your look from morning to bloom to night! Specially housed in limited-edition, moon-bloom packaging.“
The MAC Black Cherry Bloombox Matte Lipstick is one of three shades within the Black Cherry collection, with the other two shades being Moody Bloom and Dramarama.
Bloombox is described by MAC as being a bright salmon pink which isn’t something I’d normally be drawn to, but in the swatches on the MAC website, the MAC Black Cherry Bloombox Matte Lipstick looked to be a coral which wasn’t too bright.
However, it’s very true to name as it’s very bright, and it reminds me of MAC Toxic Tale lipstick – I don’t own Toxic Tale any more, but it’s extremely similar. I don’t find the shade to be matte either, it’s very much a satin finish, and if you love bright and vibrant shades, you’ll love Bloombox.
