The Lunar Beauty Moon Prism Blush Palette Collection was secretly revealed earlier this week, after the Lunar Beauty Moon Prism Blush Palette Collection mysteriously appearing on the Lunar Beauty website.
It wasn’t long before the Lunar Beauty Moon Prism Blush Palette Collection photos were all over Instagram, but Lunar Beauty supposedly privately messaged the accounts that had shared the images and asked them to be removed.
Well Manny MUA (the CEO of Lunar Beauty) has officially announced the new collection on his YouTube channel. Keep reading to find out more about this new collection, and find out the launch details..
Lunar Beauty Moon Prism Blush Palette Collection
Manny MUA shared a photo of himself in rosy pink makeup, with faux freckles on his Instagram page a few weeks and wrote a caption about working on something.
Now the images of the Lunar Beauty Moon Prism Blush Palette Collection have been revealed, it’s now obvious that it was this collection that the images were from. His makeup looks undoubtedly stunning, and I think this campaigns images are my favourite he’s done to date.
The Lunar Beauty Moon Prism Blush Palette Collection is going to launch on WEDNESDAY the 20th of May at 10am PST on the Lunar Beauty website, and then Morphe and Sephora from Friday 29th May.
We also have the Jeffree Star Cremated Palette launching this week, so it’ll be battle of the influencer owned brands.
The main piece in the collection is the blush palette, but there’s also three beautiful lip colours too. The theme for the collection is most definitely peaches and nudes.
The shades in the blush palette really remind me of the shades that Makeup Geek did in their large circular pans circa 2015 that everyone used to go crazy for.
Looking at the six shades, they do lean kinda fair, so I think the Lunar Beauty Moon Prism Blush Palette will be best suited for fair to medium skintones, but it’d be good to see Lunar Beauty launch a deeper version for those with deeper skintones.
The Lunar Beauty Moon Prism Blush Palette has the prettiest pink and lilac cloud design with different moons on the front, and the moons are actually raised which looks amazing and is definitely my favourite packaging design he’s done to date too.
Manny formulated the six blushes, so they would be super buildable, and allow you to go for a very sheer hint of colour, but they can also be built up if you prefer a more intense blush effect. The six blush shades in the palette are (with Manny’s descriptions);
- Pink Moon – “the most pale, pale, pale pink ever”
- Twilight – Manny’s favourite shade in the palette, and is an apricot orange
- Spacey – a plum pink / rusty plum
- Soleil – pink with a gold shimmer reflect. Manny said Soleil has a different texture, and has been pressed a lot lighter than the others.
- Stargaze – the perfect blush pink, and the perfect bridal pink
- Gravity – terracotta warm brown with a peach undertone
Obviously with the brand name Lunar Beauty, he’s always going to have celestial inspired products, names and packaging. This new collection is no different, and if you like anything lunar or celestial, you’re going to love this collection.
The Lunar Beauty Moon Prism Blush Palette is $35 and contains six large powder blushes (total weight 27.24 grams – so 4.54 grams per blush shade in the palette.), which is a really great deal.
Yes the Lunar Beauty Moon Prism Blush Palette packaging is cardboard, but the pan sizes are really generous so you’re getting a lot of product for your money.
The six blushes include one shimmer shade and five matte formulas, and Soleil features a duochrome shimmer finish.
In addition to the Lunar Beauty Moon Prism Blush Palette, there are three lip glosses which you can purchase individually or as a bundle to save a little money.
He designed the inside of the boxes for the glosses to look like outer space, with a moon and stars like a night sky which is so crazy cute.
Each of the three glosses will be $17 each, and the three shades are;
- Selene (now being brought back as a permanent shade)
Manny describes Selene as being a peachy nude, Moon a true nude and Starlight a pink with reflect sparkle. Love that Manny included the shades on a darker skin tone too, as not many beauty brands do that but something like a lip gloss can look entirely different skin tone to skin tone.
If you love the look of this Lunar Beauty Moon Prism Blush Palette collection, it is available right now.
