I love it whenever there’s a new drugstore foundation launch, and the L’Oreal True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum is a product which is set to launch in June, so this is a mega sneak peek ahead of the global launch. If you’d like to find out more about this new foundation, keep on reading…
I’ve lost count how many True Match products L’Oreal have launched over the years. The True Match foundation was their original bestseller, and ever since it launched, the brand has launched endless different True Match products with foundations, primers, concealers, powders, highlighters, blushers and more…
The L’Oreal True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum is another product under the brand’s True Match umbrella, and is launching in nine different shades.
That’s not the most inclusive shade range by any means, but the concept behind this particular formula is flexibility, and L’Oreal are marketing each ‘shade’ as working for up to three shades of their foundation.
So in theory, the nine shades *should* cover twenty seven shades of their foundation, but until we’ve seen swatches, I’ll reserve judgement on whether that truly is the case or not.
“Makeup + Skincare = The Perfect Match. Introducing New True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum by L’Oreal Paris – The 1st tinted serum with 1 percent Hyaluronic Acid.
With this tinted serum skin instantly looks brighter, even and feels hydrated for a nude, radiant finish.
The 1% Hyaluronic acid gives skin a hydrated feel and smoothes over time, while the luminous mineral pigments give lightweight coverage for a brightened complexion. “
Shake well before using. Apply a few drops directly to your face. Use fingers to blend starting at the center and working your way outwards. Can be worn alone or layered with other makeup/skincare products.
The L’Oreal True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum is available in the following shades;
- 0.5-2 Very Light
- 2-3 Light
- 3-4 Light – Medium
- 4-5 Medium
- 5-6 Medium – Tan
- 6-7 Tan
- 7-8 Tan – Deep
- 8-10 Deep
- 10.5-11 Rich Deep
The L’Oreal True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum is packaged within a clear glass bottle, with a glass pipette dispenser, and will retail for $15.99 once it launches.
I like the idea of the hydrating formula, with 1% pure hyaluronic acid. I think a more hydrating, lightweight base like this is ideal for the summer months, and I’m intrigued to give it a try once it launches to see how it compares to the original True Match formulation.
