There are two new launches from Lime Crime, and they’re for the eyes! The Lime Crime Wet Cherry Shadow Palettes have launched as a duo, featuring one metallic palette and one matte palette.
I can’t recall Lime Crime ever doing that with palettes before, as they tend to launch palettes with a multitude of finishes, although I’m kinda confused why they didn’t just put all the shades in one palette, as it’d make for a much more versatile palettes…
Lime Crime Wet Cherry Shadow Palettes
Lime Crime are doing a NARS in that they’re flogging the whole Wet Cherry theme a massive amount, just like NARS does with Orgasm. I personally don’t understand how a ‘wet cherry’ theme works with a matte palette, but maybe that’s just me…
The Lime Crime Wet Cherry Shadow Palettes are two, limited edition five pan eyeshadow palettes. They both feature plastic, rectangular compacts, one of which is baby pink, and the other is bright red.
On the lid of each palette, there’s a cherry printed design, but for me, that’s where the whole cherry theme ends, as the shades aren’t even cherry themed in my opinion which is kinda strange.
First up of the Lime Crime Wet Cherry Shadow Palettes is the Wet Cherry Sweet Mattes Eyeshadow Palette, which has baby pink packaging, and is said to give eyes a sweet, sultry mix of mauves and roses with five vibrant, matte shades.
The five shades within the palette are;
- Blossom
- Orchard
- Meringue
- Candied
- Tart
Then the second Lime Crime Wet Cherry Shadow Palette is the Wet Cherry Wild Metallics Eyeshadow Palette, which has bright red packaging, and is said to give eyes a bold look of rainbow colours in buildable pigment that shimmers.
The five shades within the palette are;
- Jello
- Shirley
- Bomb
- Danish
- Morello
Each of the two palettes are £21, which isn’t bad for a Lime Crime palette, but I’m just not seeing the cherry vibes with the palettes. The matte palette does have some pinky red shades. but the metallic palette has green and yellow shades, which feel a little random, but they’re available right now.
