We’re seeing a few cream and liquid blush products launching right now, and the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Blushers is yet another to be launched.
I’ve already shared the new Revolution Pro Hydra Bright Cream Blushers with you today, and now let’s take a look at the latest Laura Mercier launch.
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Blushers
“Buildable, long-lasting cheek color effortlessly melts into skin creating a soft natural flushed look perfect for a no-makeup makeup look. This ultra-moisturizing formula provides 12 hours of weightless tinted hydration for the perfect skincare-meets-makeup pop of color.“
The Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Blushers are said to be a weightless cream blush that delivers buildable, natural cheek colour with the skincare power of a moisturizer.
Its formula features raspberry seed oil to help with conditioning the skin, and prickly pear extract to hydrate the skin. Gotta admit, the name of these cream blushers is a little strange; how can it be a tinted moisturiser, and a blush?!
They’re not going to offer any coverage benefits, like a tinted moisturiser would, but supposedly they’re going to give you the “skincare powers” of a moisturiser.
Not sure anyone needs that, surely it’d be best to just use a moisturiser all over your face (and neck) rather than the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Blushers.
However, seeing as they are blushers, and blush shades, they’ll be applied to just the cheeks? It’s a strange marketing gimmick, for sure. I think they’d have been popular without the tinted moisturizer reference, but hopefully the formula is good.
The Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Blushers are $28 each, and they contain 0.5 oz/ 15 mL of product within a squeezy plastic tube, in identical packaging to their tinted moisturisers.
There are a total of nine shades to choose from;
- Provence – pale pink nude
- Southbound – peachy pink
- Promenade – deep blue rose with golden sheen
- Parasol – deep berry
- Croisette – shimmering garnet
- Sun Drenched – shimmering deep coral
- Corsica – sparkling peach
- Coastline – cappuccino
- French Riviera – red chocolate
I think the shades look really pretty, and I’d be tempted to try Provence and Southbound, as I’m a sucker for a peachy pink, and I love a good cream blush. If you’d like to check out the new blushers, they’re available right now.
