The Laura Mercier Christmas collection for 2020 is named Ballet à Paris, with a pretty blush pink theme across the packaging. The Laura Mercier Pièce de résistance Eye & Cheek Essentials Palette is the largest piece within the collection, and it’s a beast of a palette.
Laura Mercier Pièce de résistance Eye & Cheek Essentials Palette
The Laura Mercier Pièce de Résistance Eye & Cheek Essentials Palette is a limited-edition palette of eye & cheek essentials to create a full canvas of endless artistry.
Priced at $120, this mega palette is said to have a value of $257 which is really great value. There’s no denying, $120 is pricey for a palette, but there is a lot of products crammed into this palette.
This beautiful palette is inspired by the stage grace of the Parisienne ballerina, and features a double design with 15 bouncy eyeshadows which range from sheer and shimmering to high-drama deep pigments.
Plus an artistry-curated trio of bronze, blush and highlighter to illuminate cheeks in universally flattering shades, with a sleek removable mirror that separates each palette. I think it’s genius that the mirror can be removed, but it can stand up too should you want to prop it up on your vanity during use.
The eyeshadows included within the Laura Mercier Pièce de Résistance Eye & Cheek Essentials Palette are; Odette, Muslin, Gauze, Lace, Tulle Jacquard, Velveteen, Étoile, Sylphide, Chiffon Petticoat, Mesh, Satin Slippers, Sugarplum and Odile.
Then the cheek shades included within the palette are; Charmeuse, Tutu, Grand Tier and Orchestra. The cheek shades include two blushes, one bronzer and one highlighter, whereas the eyeshadows are mainly cool toned like most of the collection. This palette is currently only available on the Laura Mercier website, but I’ll update this post should it launch at other retailers in the coming weeks.
