Laneige Peach Glowy Balm Review

Laneige only launched in the UK this year, and I ordered the Laneige Peach Glowy Balm alongside a collection of other Laneige skincare treats, to celebrate the UK launch.

Before the brand was available at Selfridges and Cult Beauty, we had to rely on YesStyle, and also resellers, but it’s amazing the products are finally available in the UK.

Laneige Peach Glowy Balm Review

Laneige Peach Glowy Balm

The perfect daytime partner in crime to the cult-favorite Lip Sleeping Mask, Glowy Lip Balm is pocket sized for easy, on-the-go application. The formula contains murumuru and shea butters that provide powerful hydration and lock in moisture longer.

Laneige Peach Glowy Balm Review

I have three different scents of the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, all of which I’ve got from YesStyle, but I’d never tried any of the Laneige Glowy Balms before. I love anything peach scented, or peach flavoured, so it had to be the Laneige Peach Glowy Balm I chose.

In addition to Peach, there’s also Berry, Gummy Bear, Grapefruit and Pear. Although, there’s only the Berry, Peach and Grapefruit scents available, which is a shame. I so want to try the Gummy Bear scent, as it sounds flipping amazing, but maybe one day we’ll get it in the UK.

The Laneige Peach Glowy Balm is £16 / $17, and is packaged within a squeezy, plastic tube with 10g / 0.35 oz of product.

The tube has an angled, silicone applicator which allows you to apply the balm directly to the lips, although with the tinted variations of the balm, you might want to use something a little more precise as it is a slippy formula, and tends to move around on the lips.

This particular balm; the Laneige Peach Glowy Balm, has an orange tint, which can be sheered out, but it is a noticeable orange tint. I have to admit, I would have preferred a clear balm, but the Pear scent is the only version that’s clear.

It smells so nice, and is a really authentic peach scent too. I like how nourishing it feels on the lips, but I don’t love the texture. It’s a glossy balm, but it somehow feels so slimey, and it just moves around so easily, which wouldn’t matter as much, if it was a clear balm.

Laneige Peach Glowy Balm Review

Maybe I’m lazy, but I don’t want to have to check a lip balm whilst wearing it, just to make sure it hasn’t migrated from the lips. I much prefer the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, so I wouldn’t purchase any more of the Glowy Balms, but I’m glad I could finally try it, after lusting for so long.
