Laneige have been hinting at a new launch all week, and the Laneige Lip Treatment Balm has been finally revealed as their latest lip launch.
Laneige are known for their iconic Lip Sleeping Mask, and it’s one of my own favourite lip treatments, so I’m always excited to hear about new Laneige launches.
Laneige Lip Treatment Balm
“This pearlescent, piña colada-scented treatment is formulated with coconut oil to deeply moisturize and peptide and adenosine to help visibly smooth and firm lip wrinkles.
It quickly delivers a cooling sensation and helps lips look fuller. Plus, the applicator is stored in the lid for cleaner use!”
The Laneige Lip Treatment Balm is $25, and is available in one version rather than their ordinary flavoured Lip Sleeping Masks, and the scent/flavour is Pina Colada which just sounds delicious, and the promotional imagery looks amazing.
The Laneige Lip Treatment Balm is described as being a pearlescent daily lip treatment that coats lips in nourishing hydration, visibly smooths lip wrinkles, and boosts the look of lip fullness.
Key Ingredients
- Coconut Oil: Deeply moisturizes to lock in hydration and visibly softens lips.
- Peptide and Adenosine: Visibly smooth lip wrinkles while boosting the look of fullness and firmness.
- Pearlescent Shine: Reflects light for an illuminated pout.
The packaging looks quite unique compared to the average lip balm or lip treatment, as it’s a round jar, with a lid that unscrews.
However there’s an applicator which slides into a hole inside the lid, and it appears to be a doefoot applicator which you use to scoop the balm from the jar. It’s a little strange, but it’s considerably more hygienic than using your fingers within the jar.
I think the Laneige Lip Treatment Balm sounds delicious, and I like that it’s marketed as being a balm/treatment you can use at any time of the day rather than at night like their Lip Sleeping Mask.
I use the overnight mask during the day too, but this particular treatment looks like it gives the shine of a lip gloss, and the nourishment of a lip mask, and it’s available right here.
