There’s a hot new Lancôme launch, and it’s the Lancôme Le 8 Hypnôse Volume Serum Mascara, which is the latest addition to the hugely popular Lancôme Hypnôse Mascara collection.
“Enhance your eyes with the new volume mascara-serum Le 8 Hypnôse, for volume that takes care of your lashes in depth.
Composed of 91% black balm and enriched with 8 amino acids, its new generation formula densifies the eyelashes passage after passage, for a sculptural volume, infinitely adjustable, nourishes and revitalizes them day after day.
Load the brush 8 times for optimal application of the formula.”
The Lancôme Le 8 Hypnôse Volume Serum Mascara has launched in Europe as an exclusive, where it’s on sale for €39.90, and will be launching globally very soon.
I love the packaging on this version of Hypnôse, as the tube has an hourglass shape with curve ridges, and as well as being plain black, it has a clear section towards the base of the tube, and it just looks so chic and unique to any other mascara tube design we’ve seen from Lancôme.
Lancôme describes the tube as being recyclable, with a ‘glass’ bottle and plastic cap. The mascara has a double-sided brush, which is made from plant-based fibres, and this brush coats all lashes evenly, defining and sculpting volume.
The Lancôme Le 8 Hypnôse Volume Serum Mascara is available in one shade right now; 01 Sculptural Black, and the mascara is said to have an ultra innovative balm formula, which coats and thickens the lashes coat after coat for sculptural volume.
Its formula is composed of 91% black balm, and is enriched 8 amino acids, allowing the mascara to nourish and revitalise the lashes day after day. The formula also contains 5% shea butter, which has been sourced from Burkina Faso, to make lashes feel lighter and silkier.
Lancôme Le 8 Hypnôse Volume Serum Mascara has been designed to be removed easily with hot water, thanks to the absence of wax within the formula, meaning the removal is gentle, and doesn’t harm the lashes, leaving them stronger and more resilient.
For application, Lancôme recommends we ‘load the brush 8 times for an optimal application of the formula’ which ties into the mention of ‘8’ within the name, as well as the 8 amino acids that feature within the formula.
I like the look of the brush of this mascara, as it has a rounded hourglass shape, like the traditional Hypnôse mascara, and the idea of a glass mascara tube is definitely different. If you’d like to check out the latest Hypnôse mascara, it’s available right now.
