Every year, Kylie Jenner launches a new makeup collection for her birthday, and for her 23rd birthday she created the Kylie Cosmetics Wild Thing Leopard Collection.
However, she was unable to release it in August for her birthday due to the global crisis causing production delays, but today she has finally revealed the leopard themed collection, and it’s amazing!
Kylie Cosmetics Wild Thing Leopard Collection
The last collection we saw Kylie launch was her Sailor Collection back in the summer, so it’s great to see another big collection launch, and I love the leopard print theme for this collection.
Some brands do themes quite subtly, but Kylie has carried the leopard print theme through from the packaging to the products themselves too. The Kylie Cosmetics Wild Thing Leopard Collection is set to launch on the 26th of October on the Kylie Cosmetics website.
As always with the Kylie Cosmetics collections, the Kylie Cosmetics Wild Thing Leopard Collection will be available with the products individually, but Kylie always sells her collections as a full bundle in special box packaging – shown above.
The Kylie Cosmetics Wild Thing Leopard Collection prices haven’t been revealed yet, but her Sailor Collection bundle was $125, and the bundles always sell out quickly due to the special presentation packaging. Let’s get on to the products shall we?!
No Kylie Cosmetics collection would be complete without a lip kit of some kind, and the Kylie Cosmetics Wild Thing Leopard Collection features just one lip kit; Can’t Be Tamed.
This Lip Kit includes a Kylie Cosmetics Matte Liquid Lipstick and Lip Liner. The Matte Liquid Lipstick has a clear tube, with amazing golden leopard print detailing both on the tube and on the lid too.
The lip liner has bronze packaging, and leopard print detailing on the lid. In terms of shades, the Kylie Cosmetics Wild Thing Leopard Collection Lip Kit looks to be a gorgeous warm orange toned nude which lends itself well to the whole leopard print theme for the collection.
Next up in the collection is the Kylie Cosmetics Pressed Highlighter in the shade Hear Me Roar. This highlighter is huge, and contains 13g / 0.46 oz of product.
The highlighter appears to come in a plastic compact, with a pretty leopard print design printed onto the powder which looks so cute. Kylie describes Hear Me Roar as being a ‘gold with a touch of pink‘ and it looks very pretty and sparkly in her swatches.
Next up in the Kylie Cosmetics Wild Thing Leopard Collection are the Kylie Cosmetics Lash Trios, which are a set of 32 Lash Trio Clusters, which you can add to your lash line to thicken your natural lashes.
I love using lash clusters as they’re so much easier to apply than strip lashes, and you can wear them in the outer corner for a winged lash effect. These lash trios come in a plastic box so you could reuse and store them if you look after them.
The second product for the lips in the Kylie Cosmetics Wild Thing Leopard Collection is the Kylie Cosmetics High Gloss Set which features four beautiful lip glosses in clear plastic tubes, and matte brown plastic lids, both of which have a gold foil leopard print design.
There are four glosses in this set, and Kylie said that these are her favourite lip gloss shades she’s created to date.
They’re all very pretty and multi-dimensional with different sparkles and finishes. The shades include;
- Bad Kitty – brown nude
- Wildin – clear gloss with golden shimmer and sparkle
- Feline Cute – light pink with pearl
- Hissy Fit – rose gold creme with pink and purple sparkle
The Kylie Cosmetics Wild Thing Leopard Collection features two Kylie Cosmetics Shadow Sticks which are cream eyeshadow sticks. They have brown plastic twist-up packaging, and have leopard print detailing on the lid.
The two cream eyeshadow sticks are in the following shades;
- Catch Me If You Can – light champagne shimmer
- Born To Be Wild – light neutral toned brown shimmer
Would it be a Kylie Cosmetics collection without an eyeshadow palette?! It’s always the most popular product within her collections, and the Kylie Cosmetics Wild Thing Leopard Collection Pressed Powder Palette is a beauty.
The palette has cardboard packaging, with a printed leopard print design and there’s brown glitter on Kylie on the front of the palette. I love the palette’s packaging, it looks so cute, and the leopard print design isn’t just confined to the outer palette’s design. The mirror in the lid has laser cut leopard print surrounding it also, which looks amazing.
There’s a leopard design embossed onto five of the shades within the palette too which is such a nice extra detail. The palette features fifteen eyeshadows, and it appears that there are two pressed glitters and one foil shade too.
These are the swatches Kylie shared of the Kylie Cosmetics Wild Thing Leopard Collection Eyeshadow Palette, aren’t they beautiful?
Kylie said this was her favourite palette, and she uses it everyday. Kylie shared live swatches on her Instagram Stories, and the pigmentation and smoothness of the shades is amazing. The mattes look so smooth and pigmented, and the shimmers have a beautiful high-shine finish.
This collection is amazing, and it was definitely worth the wait. I know leopard print is a love it or hate it kind of print, but this shades and packaging for all of the products are perfect for the theme. I particularly love the look of the glosses and cream eyeshadow sticks, and the collection launches on the 26th of October.
