Kylie Jenner has unveiled her summer 2020 collection, and it’s amazing. The Kylie Cosmetics Sailor Summer Collection is launching on the 31st of August right here, and the whole collection has a sailor theme with the cutest nautical vibe across the packaging and products too.
Kylie Cosmetics Sailor Summer Collection
The Kylie Cosmetics Sailor Summer Collection features nautical packaging, with Kylie dressed as a sailor in a glam illustration. It’s such a different vibe compared to anything she’s done previously, and the product’s all have red, white and blue coloured packaging.
We know there’s five different products within the collection, and these images show the PR bundle, but you can still get a good look at the packaging. We don’t know prices yet, but once any pricing information is shared, I’ll be sure to update this post.
Kylie Cosmetics Sailor Summer Collection Products:
- Kylie Cosmetics High Gloss Lip Gloss $16
- Kylie Cosmetics Shadow Stick Duo $18
- Kylie Cosmetics Lashes in Shady $18
- Kylie Cosmetics Matte Liquid Lipstick & Lip Liner Duo in the shade Kiss Me Sailor $29
- Kylie Cosmetics Pressed Powder Palette $44
The Kylie Cosmetics Matte Liquid Lipstick & Lip Liner Duo in the shade Kiss Me Sailor features a pretty nude pink coloured liquid lipstick, and then a matching lip liner.
The liner has bright blue packaging, and the liquid lipstick has a clear tube, with Kylie written in a rope-like font which is such a cute touch.
This looks like the most beautiful pinky nude, and the kind of shade which would suit any skintone.
The Kylie Cosmetics Sailor Summer Collection includes the first ever false lashes Kylie has made. Kylie said she was super excited about launching these lashes, and she had help from a makeup artist to help her create them.
They look like such stunning, wispy crossover lashes which elongated lash fibres towards the ends for the prettiest winged eye makeup look. I love the packaging on these lashes, they look so glam and luxurious.
The star product within the Kylie Cosmetics Sailor Summer Collection is the Kylie Cosmetics Kylie Jenner Pressed Powder Palette, which has an amazing red striped design with Kylie on the front in a pin-up sailor design.
This palette contains sixteen powder shadows, in a cardboard design palette.
Some of the matte shades in the Kylie Cosmetics Sailor Summer Collection Palette have a cute anchor detail embossed into the pans.
The palette has the same red pinstripe design as the box which looks so cool, and the shades include the following names;
- Come Aboard
- Captain Cutie
- Tidal Wave
- Blue Ocean
- Shipwreck
- Tight Ship
- Go With The Float
- Don’t Be Salty
- Slay Captain
- Deep Sea
- Got The Blues
- Yacht Party
- Wavy
- Unsinkable
- Total Catch
- On Board
The palette looks to contain pressed glitter shades, with a foil rope effect surrounding the mirror in the lid. I think the shades suit the nautical sailor theme really well, with some really beautiful shades.
Next up in the Kylie Cosmetics Sailor Summer Collection are the Shadow Sticks. It’s a cute duo pack, with life rings all over the front of the box, with some of the life rings having a glittery effect.
They’re twist up eyeshadow sticks in two shades;
- Rock The Boat – warm coppery brown
- Sandy Cheeks – warm yellow gold
Both shades are super metallic and look like they can be applied lightly for a sheer effect, or built up easily in a couple of strokes. They look like they’d go well together for the perfect summery bronze makeup look.
The next product within the Kylie Cosmetics Sailor Summer Collection is the Kylie Cosmetics High Gloss in the shade Private Island, which looks like the perfect red lip gloss shade.
The packaging is also super cute, with anchors all over the lid and Kylie written in a navy blue rope-like font. The red shade really complements the shades in the eyeshadow palette, and the rest of the collection.
I like that you can go for the nude lip kit, or the red gloss if you prefer a more colourful lip. The Kylie Cosmetics High Gloss Lip Glosses have chunky doefoot applicators, and it looks like it would give a tinted lip oil effect on the lips rather than being an opaque red.
This gloss in the shade Private Island is a really pretty, translucent red which Kylie describes as being a tint, but it doesn’t look like it would tint the lips. If you love the look of this kitsch collection, it launches August 31st.
