The Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Birthday Collection has been officially revealed by Kylie Jenner as being the theme for her birthday collection, with ALL new formulas, we’ve never seen before.

Every birthday since Kylie Cosmetics was founded, there has been a birthday themed collection, and they’ve been pretty iconic, but this collection is the first collection since Kylie rebranded her entire beauty brand. There are SEVEN products within this collection, and keep on reading to find out all about the new Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Birthday Collection….

Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Birthday Collection

We now know the Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Birthday Collection is the theme for Kylie’s 24th birthday. Kylie shared the above photo showcasing everything in her PR box, with everything having an amazing 24K Gold gilt design, with golden makeup on Kylie in the promotional images.

Last year we saw the Wild Thing collection, which was an amazing leopard themed collection, and it was a beautiful collection, and this collection is equally amazing, especially as it’s the first collection since the massive Kylie Cosmetics rebrand in June.

Let’s take a look at the products within the Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Birthday Collection….

First up in the Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Birthday Collection is the Kylie Cosmetics 24K Gold Good as Gold Powder Highlighter.

The highlighter is housed within a gold, chrome, circular compact with Kylie written in bold letters on the top of the lid.

Inside the compact, there’s 8g / 0.28oz of product, and it wouldn’t be a Kylie Cosmetics collection without a highlighter. We all know Kylie loves glowing skin, and this collection includes the most blingy highlighter we’ve seen her launch.

The Kylie Cosmetics 24K Gold Highlighter has a baked gelee formula, with a raised 24K design on the pan. It’s a bright, yellow gold which looks like it would be big enough to apply to the face and the body for a gorgeous glow.

The compact features a mirror inside the lid, and the colour reminds me a little of Fenty Beauty Trophy Wife Highlighter Powder. 

In the above swatch, we can see the Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Birthday Collection Good As Gold Highlighter looks to have almost a foiled effect on the skin, with some sparkle too.

Next up in the Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Birthday Collection is the Body Glow Liquid Highlighter, which contains 50ml / 1.69 fl.oz of product.

This liquid highlighter can be used on both the face and the body, and comes in a white plastic tube. It looks like it’s this product which is all over Kylie’s body in the promotional imagery and it looks stunning.

In the above before and after photo, we can see that the Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Birthday Collection Body Glow has a cream formula, with golden shimmer to add a glow, and also a tint to the skin, as shown above. Kylie describes this liquid highlighter as offering a non-sticky shine to the skin, and it dries fully down.

Next up in the collection is the Kylie Cosmetics 24K Lip Lacquer Set, which features four shades within clear plastic tubes, and gold chrome lids. On the tubes, there’s gold foil brush strokes which look quite luxe.

I love that the Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Birthday Collection includes four different shades within one set, and they’re all shades we see Kylie wear. We know Kylie loves a nude or mauve lip, and this set gives you four beautiful lip lacquers to wear individually, or blend together.

Kylie describes all four shades as high shine lip glosses, and they’re super pigmented with a doefoot applicator for an even and precise application. We can see a nude pink, rosy mauve, deep brown and pinky brown shade, with a super glossy finish. 

Next up in the Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Birthday Collection is the prettiest eyeshadow palette. Eyeshadow palettes are always the most popular piece in Kylie’s collections, and this palette is a big palette as far as palettes go, with twenty-four shades.

The Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Eyeshadow Palette has gold foil cardboard packaging, with square shaped pans, and a mirror inside the lid. All of the shades have birthday and gold themed names, and it’s a really pretty colour story.

Kylie shared these swatches of the Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Birthday Collection Palette, of her favourite shades in the palette, and the shimmers look like foils, and the mattes look super pigmented too.

Next in the Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Birthday Collection is the Kylie Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner Duo, which includes two liquid eyeliner pens, and they’re both super sparkly and beautiful.

The two pens have gold chrome packaging, with a clear well containing the liquid eyeliner. Each liner contains 2.7ml of product, and these liners can be used alone as liners, or layered over the top of the eyeshadows for extra sparkle.

Here are the swatches of the two shades within the kit. It looks like they both have clear bases, with glitter particles suspended within the base. One shade is a rosy pink colour, and the other is an antiqued gold.

The next product in the Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Birthday Collection is the All Over Multi-Usage Gloss, which contains 12ml / 0.40 fl.oz of product, for adding a glossy shine.

This Multi-Use Gloss comes in a white plastic tube, which is different for Kylie Cosmetics, and the tube has an angled plastic applicator, similar to that of the Lancome Juicy Tubes Lip Glosses.

Kylie has mentioned that the gloss can be used on the eyes, lips and cheeks, and it’s a bright metallic gold. It looks like it’s the shade on Kylie’s eyelids in the promo images. 

The last piece in the Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Birthday Collection is the Kylie Jenner 24K Gold Lip Serum, which is packaged within a clear plastic tube with a gold chrome lid.

The Lip Serum is said to contain little gold flakes, and is completely clear. It claims to be hydrating and anti-ageing on the lips also. 

With the Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Birthday Collection having a 24K gold theme, it was obvious the collection was going to be more on the more neutral side, as the makeup looks in the promotional images show a foiled gold shade on Kylie’s lids, with a matte brown shade creating a cat eye effect.

The Kylie Cosmetics 24k Gold Birthday Collection is set to launch on the 10th of August, which is Kylie’s birthday, and I’ll update this post as soon as more information and swatches are shared.
