KVD Vegan Beauty have announced their first proper launch since they rebranded at the start of 2020. The KVD Vegan Beauty Shake Primer High Impact Eyeshadow Primer was sneak peeked with some blackout images, to try to get their followers to guess what the new product could be.
However, nobody guessed what the new launch was going to be – and it’s definitely one of the most interesting and innovative launches I’ve seen in a long time.

The KVD Vegan Beauty Shake Primer High Impact Eyeshadow Primer is such an interesting and unique product. It’s an invisible vegan eyeshadow primer for everyone.
It’s been formulated for all finishes, and helps to unlock true colour and extends the wear of your eyeshadow in a first of its kinds bi-phase liquid formula.
KVD Vegan Beauty claim traditional eye primers can muddy the colour of your eyeshadows, aren’t always universal. The Shake Primer is designed to give all eyeshadow colours, finishes and formula the true colour payoff of a wet brush application, without ever glazing or ruining your shadows.
Designed for anyone wanting to take a more sustainable and mindful approach to makeup, Shake Primer lets you make the most of ALL the palettes you already have.
In a consumer study on 32 volunteers over 12 hours:
- 94% agree it boosted the vibrancy of eyeshadow.
- 91% agree it enhanced the true color of eyeshadow.
The KVD Vegan Beauty Shake Primer High Impact Eyeshadow Primer is $22 and comes in a pretty small bottle, as it is for use on the eyelids. Eye primers always come in smaller tubes and bottles as you obviously need a lot less product than you would with a face primer.
However, it’s said to be a small-but-mighty containing a concentrated elixir of only essential ingredients, so it’s not weighed down by binders or fillers, and it’s free of silicone, alcohol and talc…1 drop is all you need!
Directions
Shake well to fully mix. Remove cap. Press button on bottom of bottle to dispense 1 drop on fingertip. Massage fingers together and apply on each lid—just 1 drop is enough for both eyes! Let dry a few seconds before applying eyeshadow. Tip: A little goes a long way!
