The KVD Beauty Planet Fanatic Eyeshadow Palette has been revealed as the latest launch from KVD Beauty. We just saw the official launch of their ModCon Liquid Gel Blushers this past week, after they were initially first revealed back in April.
It tends to be around a month from the announcement of a new KVD product until it’s available for purchase, however this new eyeshadow palette is available right now thanks to Sephora. Keep on reading to find out more about the KVD Beauty Planet Fanatic Eyeshadow Palette…

KVD Beauty Planet Fanatic Eyeshadow Palette
KVD Beauty undertook a whole rebrand around two months ago, where they deleted every single Instagram post they’d ever posted, and revealed a whole new logo, brand message and ethos.
The logo is no longer gothic-inspired like Kat Von D Beauty used to be, and instead it’s quite plain and angular, and it’s gold now too.
There have been three products launch since the ‘rebrand’ including the Good Apple Skin Balm Foundation, the ModCon Blushers and now the KVD Beauty Planet Fanatic Eyeshadow Palette, and they all have the old logo, and old style packaging.
I know it must take a lot of money and time to rebrand a brand and the packaging, but it just seems so strange to keep launching products with the old logo. It’s hard for the brand to try and push a whole new ethos and style, when the products all carry the same branding and logo as Kat Von D Beauty.
Maybe in a few months we’ll begin to see the new logo on products. I definitely wouldn’t expect the brand to just discontinue all the old packaging, as that’d go against their more eco-friendly goals, but it just seems so strange that they’re yet to use the new logo and branding anywhere other than social media.
“Discover the Planet Fanatic palette inspired by the beauty of the planet and composed of 14 matte or iridescent shades, to be applied dry or with a damp brush for an ultra intense look. All in fully recyclable packaging!
The beauty of the colors and elements of the Earth inspired this palette. The eyes are sublimated thanks to these 14 high definition and high hold shades: 8 matte shades for a soft and glamorous look and 6 glitter shades for a more intense effect and more colorful looks.
Think of sand dunes in the desert, glaciers, canyons, orange sunsets, an emerald sea, landscapes as far as the eye can see. Warm, cool or more pop tones, there is something for everyone to create endless looks, from the most neutral to the most daring.“
The KVD Beauty Planet Fanatic Eyeshadow Palette is a fourteen pan palette, with clear acrylic packaging. It’s priced at €46, and the palette is 100% vegan, and the packaging is said to be 100% recyclable, just like the clear acrylic packaging on the Good Apple Skin Balm Foundation compact too.
Inside the KVD Beauty Planet Fanatic Eyeshadow Palette, there are the following shades;
- FAULT LINE: matte sand beige
- DUNE SHIFT: glitter golden bronze
- TECTONIC: matte soft amber beige
- BIOPHILIA: glitter golden fir green
- TIDAL FLOW: matte oceanic gray-violet
- PERMAFROST: icy white with multidimensional reflections glitter
- ORGANISM: golden rose quartz glitter
- IGNEOUS: matte orange lava
- ISOTOPE: glittery fiery gold
- SOLAR WIND: glittery warm copper
- FRAGMENT: matte soft ash gray
- STRATA: matte soft pink sandstone
- CRATER: matte mauve clay
- BIOMASS: glittery golden amethyst
KVD Beauty are known for colourful, out there bright palettes and the KVD Beauty Planet Fanatic Eyeshadow Palette is very muted and unlike anything they’ve launched before.
Some will love it, but I feel like OG KVD fans won’t, as it is a little ‘boring’ compared to what we’ve seen from them before. This could be the direction they’re going to go now they’ve rebranded, but I have to be honest, I don’t love it, but I am interested to see what’s coming next from the brand..
