KimChi Chic Beauty have been launching a hell of a lot of products lately, and the KimChi Chic Beauty Pearl Gone Wild Thailor Highlighter is the newest addition to their Thailor Collection, and has launched today.
The KimChi Chic Thailor Collection already features Thailor Contour Duos, Thailor Bronzers and Thailor Blush Duos, so a highlighter definitely makes sense. It does however, look like there’s only one shade of highlighter.
Although, I wouldn’t be surprised if KimChi Chic Beauty launch more highlighter shades in the coming weeks, as they love to launch a new product. The KimChi Chic Beauty Pearl Gone Wild Thailor Highlighter isn’t going to work for many skintones, but it is very beautiful nonetheless.
All of the Thailor Collection are packaged within the cutest, heart shaped compacts which give me Polly Pocket vibes. They also remind me of the Too Faced Love Flush Blushes, and the KimChi Chic Beauty Pearl Gone Wild Thailor Highlighter features a stunning pearlised white compact.
This highlighter launches at 10am PST and I expected it to be $15 like their blushes, highlighters and bronzers, but it’s actually going to be $20 / £24, so a little pricier than the other Thailor products in the collection.
“Pearl Gone Wild might be the most stunning and creamiest highlight ever! Apply her anywhere you’d like for a pearlescent glow✨“
The KimChi Chic Beauty Pearl Gone Wild Thailor Highlighter appears to be an icy white with a beautiful duochrome blue shift which does look almost pearlised on the skin. This is the swatch that the brand shared on their Instagram, and it looks so pretty.
It might not be a highlighter shade for everyone, but I can only imagine how amazing it’d look on the eyes as an eyeshadow. Especially if you applied it with a damp brush to really intensify the duochrome shift. I hope the brand introduces some more shades, as the formula looks so creamy and smooth.
